"We had a great evening sampling many of the local wines. Our waiter was VERY knowledgeable on the wines and made some excellent suggestions. Very few California wines -- nearly all Oregon and Washington, and not the standard ones you normally see. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced."

"We had been to the resturant before and had a very good experience. This visit, although we reserved a table we had to wait an hour to be seated, the 3 menu items we wanted were sold out by 7:00 and the 1 alternative was out too...on a Friday night.
On a good note the manager and wait staff were very charming and went out of their way to do service recovery, extra glasses of wine, asking a group who sat for a very long time to vacat there table, and a $5.00 off card for each of us. The view is beautiful.
I think we will not go back anytime in the near future, still some work to do."

"My husband and I went there for the "Thirsty Tuesday". It's $48 for an app, 2 entrees, dessert and a bottle of wine. Best deal in town!! The food was excellent and the wine was a pefect pairing to out meal. We will definitely be back!"

"Make reservations! House Red was spicey and flavorful, fun to sip. Food came quickly and was delicious. Gluten free options were many and excellent. Server made us feel welcome. View of the Willamette River with ducks and boats was wonderful. I want to go back on a warm, sunny day and sit outside!"

"This is now my fiancee's favorite restaurant. He had the pulled pork and said it was amazing. I had cheese and the red wine flight and was in heaven. We both started with the Brussels sprout salad which was light but so tasty. The wait staff was knowledgeable and attentive without hovering or always present. Overall, we thought the food was delicious and the service equally good. We will be back."

"A somewhat hidden gem that overlooks the Willamette River. A interesting and unique wine list that showcases Oregon and Washington wines while also having some California wines added to the mix. In addition to bottles and glasses, also offer flights of wines that focus on specific characteristices and balance. Specializes in small plates that complement the wines and provide a easy and comfortable dining experience. Food is very good - in both taste and presentation. A delightful place that we always visit whenever we are in Portland."

"We dined on Valentine's day. We chose the prix fixe menu and paid extra for the wine pairings. It seemed the kitchen was quite slow and the waitress was apologetic. Our first course came way after we had received the first wine. In addition the appetizer was so tiny, two little stuffed mushrooms, that it was almost comical. Next came the small, very unadorned salad, again much later than the wine. Much later the main course which was tasty and a more reasonable portion and then the dessert which was also reasonable. 45.00 seemed steep based on the portions , the wine paings were very good for an additional $20.00, but it would have been nicer to be paired. Not sure if we will return, although I love the location."
