"I've been living in Boston for 7 years and this was one of my most memorable dining experiences. The waitress made the night for us. She was incredible. We were indecisive and couldn't decide on whether we wanted entrees or small plates (tapas-style), wine or cocktails, blah blah. She recommended that we pick 4 small plates and for each one she'd pari up a wine with it and bring us a new glass of wine with each plate. Well, that's exactly what she did. She brought out a new plate about once every 30 minutes with a new glass of wine that was so perfectly matched up with what we were eating. We were there for almost 3 hours and never once felt like we were overstaying our welcome. It really was a great night."

"We had fun at 28 degrees. Aside from the fact that our server was non existent for the most part, our overall experience was good because of the food, drinks, and ambiance. $1 oysters wrere a great way to start the night. "We went there for a Birthday/Mother's Day/Sports Victory celebration dinner as a group. At the table next to ours, there was a bachelorette party. Loved the new age/contemporary clubby vibe. Fantastic drinks!! The oysters on the half shell were phenominal. Great appetizer selection, especially fried calamari and the yellowfin tuna tartare (that comes in an appetizer size as well). However the dinner menu was extremely limited-- a bit of a disappointment after such a great start-- but what they did have, was good. The only down-side was that we waited, standing, for over half an hour for a table, even though we had reservations. When making reservations, make it clear you want a table, not lounge seating. We had, but still got lounge seats!"

"was not happy. Had a 8:00 p.m. reservation a s Saturday night, place was not even busy, and they were out of several things on the menu! In the past I have only been there for drinks, which on this night they were out of blueberry for the blueberry martini's, the only reason I decided to go there. In addition also out of the the dished I wanted, duck spring rolls, and the warm mozzarella dish, burrata I believe it is called, which they only carry Thursday thru Sunday. Not sure if I will return again."

"Terrible. Made reservations for wife and I. Arrived and were seated by bar. Asked if there was a quieter table and told no because they had a private party of 100 that were in the dining side of the restaurant. Waitress came over several minutes later and began to point out three or four items on their menu that they were out of that night, including two of the items my wife was going to order. We got up and left. If they want to book large parties and cannot accommodate dinner customers on a Saturday night, they should inform you when you book reservations. We were lucky to get a table at a nearby restaurant at this time of night."

"My husband and went for a reunion with friends and found the ambiance to be delightful and the food to be good. We stayed for hours because the food was served at a respectable pace and the host allowed us to expand our party as we continued to meet more people without rushing us out of the restaurant. We were also next to a Boston Ballet surprise function, which only hightened our visit. The blueberry martini was a gem! We understand the wine was also exceptional, both white and red. Food finds on their new spring menu were the lettuce wraps and the shrimp wrapped with prosciutto. Finally, our waitress Shane could not have been more accommodating and knowledgeable of the menu and our needs. She was exceptional!"

"I was very pleased with my dining experience at 28degess. The service was great, as well as the food, and energy of the establishment. I love the chic environment and interior design. "We were at 28 degrees for the first time and also stated this in our reservation. Maybe it was due to this, they gave us a table in the lounge altough I had clearly stated in the reservation that we were coming to eat, not just to have drinks. They were also quite eager to get us thru quickly - what I would usually expect from an american restaurant, but not at a lounge, where you are prone to stay longer and have a couple of drinks while you chat. The food was ok, although really small for the price. I would not go again."

"My guests and I felt comfortable and relaxed at our comfortable booth. We arrived the week the menu changed to the spring menu, so we were able to experience wonderful new dishes, like the shrimp wrapped with bacon and the mini-lettuce wraps along with their heavenly french fries, which are always a crowd favorite. We found all the tapas manageable and just the right proportions for the evening. The waiter timed each tapas properly and was not evasive to our group time throughout the meal. THe owners stopped by to see how the meal was going and chatted for awhile, which always makes a guest feel important. We all would definitely go again!"

"Our server Katie was great, food was awesome, wine is overpriced. Pinot Noir we had is a $9 bottle, it shouldn't cost there $58. Too much.
We did have to slow down girl who poured our wine, not Katie. She was coming way too frequently and for a little wine we thought we were in fast food chain place being rushed, but once we mentioned that we were pacing ourselves it was fine."

"The host accomodated us with seats in the bar section in what appeared to be the worst table in the bar, but turned out to be the best. It was in the corner closest to the bar and kitchen. Our waitress, Katie, offered recommendations and ensured us that she would time the items just right. She was incredibly knowledgable and energetic. Sitting near the kitchen, you could see that everyone on the 28 degrees pitched in to help, from the manager/owner, bartenders, etc. I've dined there 3 times in the last 3 years, but found this occassion to be the best one yet. The food was delicious. The tuna tartare was by far my favorite on the menu.
All and all - an enjoyable night with great food and customer service. Thank you"
