"Unexpected atmosphere; I was expecting more of a traditional restaurant experience, but it seemed like the place was better known for drinks served with great food that's not "bar food" the way you think of (sliders and flatbread pizza)...the shared food experience was fun, but you could also each order individually as well. Great price point."

"We made a reservation, but still had to wait 40 minutes. But, the bartender was charming and the appetizer we ordered, calamari, was great. Our table was in back and was fine. The food was excellent, especially the butternut squash tortellini. It was divine. Our wait staff was very helpful and parking was valet and easy. Overall, I would definitely bring my friends to enjoy a fun night out."

"We arrived on time, the host noted our reservation, but failed to record it with OpenTable. The restaurant was 90% empty at 7:15 on a Sunday. Tables are arranged around the walls, with a bar against the opposite wall and a large open space that might be a dance floor when things heat up.
Service was quick and attentive. We had the tuna tartare and cheese plate appetizers. The Both were delicious. My companion had the scallops and I had the gnocchi with lamb bolognese sauce. It's late October, and the pumpkin tortellini sounded delicious, but they were out of it and of the calimari. At 7:15.
Overall, in this economic climate you can find food just as good elsewhere with superior ambiance for at least 1/3 less money. That counts."

"We were early for our reservation and so had a drink at the bar. When we want to sit our table was no longer available! They redeemed themselves with a free drink and breadsticks at the bar while we waited which was very nice. When it came time to sit, they put us at a group table! My husband and I were on a date and were not interested in sitting with other people. The host didn't ask if we'd like to sit at this type of table and it wasn't as if the restaurant was all family style tables. The good was good."

"Went here for dinner before seeing Aretha Franklin at the Wang. The "small plates" or appetizers were great for an early dinner. Music was kind of loud, but this is a happening place. We returned after the show and it was a crowded scene. Maybe more for the "young and hip" than the suburban theater-going crowd, but close enough to the theater district and better than many of the boring restaurant options right by the Wang."

"When I first walked into this restaurant, I thought I was entering a night club. The music was modern and good, but not oppressively loud. Many women were clad in fancy, chic cocktail dresses, and men were equally well dressed. That didn't describe everyone (plenty of people were just in jeans), but there were enough "beautiful" people for me to notice. I wasn't expecting much of the food (because of the night club feel), but I was pleasantly surprised. My scallops were perfectly prepared, probably the second best I have ever eaten. My party also had pizza, calamari, bread with hummus and olive tapenade toppings, and fettucine, all of which were delicious. I would definitely return."

"Very VERY good food... asiago pesto pizza is to die for... We had our first anniversary dinner here and it wasn't what I expected it to be (I was looking for Romantic, Quiet, and Classy) but it was a great experience. I'm not a fan of having tables so close that you can barely squeeze between them to sit... Although, this place was delicious, energetic and fun, modern... and that's our style so it worked... Maybe not a good anniversary place.. but if you want dinner with someone in a dressy modern place with somewhat louder music... this is the place... and yes the food is worth it regardless of what your there for..."

"Ambiance was great - very young and hip. Food was good but the selection wasn't so great. Very few selections. We got there a little early (before 7pm) and it was practically empty with every table open except for one party (a couple). However, they choose to sit us right next to the only other party there. The tables were only 3 inches apart so we basically had dinner with this other couple! We asked for another table, a little more private since the place was EMTPY, the host just smiled and said no. They did offer another table but told us we had to leave in an hour and we did not want to be rushed so we said no."

"The menu is a little bit random. I had such an odd collection of things to eat - oysters (which were the best thing I had), a tossed salad, heirloom tomato salad, pizza, chicken and steak. It seems they are unsure of how to define themselves, largely relating to the menu. With all of that competition in the South End on Tremont Street, there are about 15 other restuarants I would go to before this one. I actually will not return to this restaurant and I very rarely say that."

"This place lacks professionalism and misses the mark as a hip lounge/restaurant. The waitress was sweet but couldn't make thoughtful recommendations. There appeared to be several off the clock staff members in the place that kept walking in and out of the kitchen and socializing with the people who were actually working. Overall, it seemed as if there was no adult supervision. Would definitely not recommend this place."

"We had a terrible experience. Service was horrible. At one point we had to get up and get the host to find our waitress so we could get our drinks that we ordered 15 minutes earlier. When she brought the drinks she forgot one so we had to remind her and she disappeared again, 10 minutes later she showed up with the forgotten beer. Even after this experience, we were constantly looking for our waitress. The food was fine, portions a bit small. We ordered two dessert samplers to share between 4 people and they claim they combined them on one plate. Very confusing to us because the sampler was for two people so you had to cut all the sample sizes in half for two people to try them. Either a mistake or really only for one person."
