"Where to begin. Several dishes in our order went missing, including the first 3 kale salads (and hour later). Cocktails never came and when it did they were wrong. These errors were comped but it made for a drawn out dining experience and some starving vegeterians at the table. This happens and I normally wouldn't write a bad review esp since I've eaten here before in a smaller party without these issues but the attitude of the server was so poor. The excuses were overwhelming and almost insinuating that we could have done something to prevent all the mix ups. We just wanted the server to go away and stop bothering us and have the food come."

"Everything was very good. I can't really say much else beyond that. We went on a weekday at 5:30, so it wasn't remotely crowded. The tapas they had were all very good, although I did not have one that blew my mind. Sangria wasn't so great, but the beer list was quite impressive."

"Our waitress was very courteous. Forgot her name, but she was the tall, brunette, Caucasian woman. Food was good.
My only suggestion would be to add turkey bacon as an alternative to the pork."

"My girlfriend and I had a really great night. Great food, great beer/drinks, and good service. We had a timeout New York offer and unlike some places they had no problem accepting it and in fact were very supportive of it. The service was very good and even when they had brought out the wrong empanadas they let us keep it and gave us the correct order for free!! Now that's great service to the customer. We were able to move from an inside table to one outside with no problem which I appreciate. EXTENSIVE beer selection!"

"My SO and I had brunch here with a Living Social deal this past weekend. The food was excellent. I had the shrimp and egg tacos with home fries and he had the green eggs and ham. They forgot the bacon on his plate, which we did not even notice, but our server picked up on it and brought out a freshly cooked, piping hot side of delicious bacon without being asked. I had a sangria and he had a mimosa, both of which were good. The sangria came with fresh fruit, which is, of course, how it should be served. The ambiance was trendy but friendly. The prices were great and we definitely plan on returning"

"I went here with two of my best friends and we couldn't have been more pleased. The atmosphere was fantastic...for a group or for a date. The place is adorable and we were seated away. Tapas were amazing , we got to share everything which made dinner more fun. Beer list is intimidating and should be a haven for beer lovers... "I had a friend in from out of town and we found La Cerveceria, what a great time! The tapas are amazing, although portions are somewhat small, but quality is great. The chef really has creative and super tasty dishes (I highly recommend the Skewers, and causas.). "We went here for a Mother's Day brunch prix fixe brunch which turned into rather a disappointment. I tried booking an earlier time (i.e. 12:30) but they claimed they were booked and the only early time available was 2. But we got there @ 1:30 and the restaurant was practically empty (only one table was in use). Hmmmm...shouldn't the restaurant have been packed if they were booked up? Anyway, the screwed up the drinks each and every time AND they screwed up the food orders. But at least the entrees were good and the desserts were delicious. Then when the check came they charged us for 7 people even though there were only 6 of us!!

"Very nice place, small but comfortable. Famous for tons of beer and wine choices. The food menu is a bit small for entrees but very good. Spent almost two hours ordering tapas, few drinks, and two entrees. The service was friendly and superb! They even offered to put flowers we bought in water. Perfectly paced service, As I said its more of a tapas, appetizer type place with prices around $16 for them, so its not inexpensive, but did not mind."

"Fantastic experience. Food was AMAZING and paced perfectly (it is mostly tapas style so shared among the table). Extremely extensive beer list, although some were quite pricey. Great vibe, although the music was a bit too loud for a restaurant at 8pm - couldn't really hear people across the table. Service was fast and friendly and they were very accommodating to our birthday girl :) Took a reso for 8 on a saturday night which was great (they make resos for any size) but seating was spaced out a bit cramped (even for a manhattan restaurant). overall would definitely recommend and definitely come back!"

"I found this restaurant by chance. My friend had recommended another tapas restaurant in NYC that turned out to be closed on Monday nights. So, I decided to stay with the tapas theme and chose La Cerveceria. Inside, was very warm and lively - very good vibes coming from the other patrons. The menu was amazing - so many choices. We ended up with skirt steak, salad, empanadas (yummy), mushroom truffle causas and a few other things. The sangria was awesome and a little strong which is a good thing. The beer list was kind of intimidating (more than 150 beers) Our bill was only about $120 for three people which is reasonable for the city. I highly recommend La Cerveceria. ."

"What a hidden gem in NY! came here with a group of friends not really knowing what to expect. Once we got inside, I was blown away by the decor.. "La Cerveceria as the name implies has a vast selection of beers and a good wine list. The food was soso but the service was good (not great). We were sorely disappointed when we were told a large party had confiscated all empanadas and the yuca we ordered was quite stringy. Because we were a party of 3, we were put into a corner which had the seating for three but at a small table (for two). So all in all not a great experience."

"The food was phenomenal and I'd highly recommend the tuna ceviche to anyone who goes. We also had the fish tacos- and in all of the dishes, the fish was fresh and the flavor was outstanding.
Their wine list is intense, and though I'm not a wino, I imagine it'd be suitable for those who are. Loved the ambiance too- not overly crowded and very cute inside. Mostly loved the noise level, it was moderate and I could have a normal volume conversation with my friend.
Will def go back."

"Food was delicious and waiters were very nice. I don't know if there was backlog in the kitchen, but out food took forever to come out and some items never even made it out of the kitchen. Hopefully there was a good excuse for this. Wish the wait staff gave us a discount or something after completely forgetting to bring certain items out."

"I almost want to give it a bad review so no one else learns about it! The food was amazing and am already looking forward to my next trip back. The Patata's are as good as anything I came across travelling Spain. The only bad thing was that one of our dishes was forgotten about and when we asked for them, they gave us a lame excuse about taking longer to cook (sliders!!) than the other dishes...I would rather he say he forgot and just apologize."

"We had a great dinner experience at La Cerveceria. Even though they botched up our reservations (made a reservation for 7pm but were entered into their system for 8pm) they were able to give us a table right away. The food was excellent. It comes in small plates and we ordered four of them and left very satisfied. Food/drinks that really stood out: white sangria, lobster guacamole, any of the potato dishes, and the goat cheese cake. Dessert was excellent as well. Dinner for two with drinks, food, and dessert came out to be around $100. The restaurant seems to run quite a few promotions through Groupon et al. We got $15 off through Scoutmob. This is definitely a place we will go back more often."

"Went for brunch with a big group of friends. Food was very good and not expensive. The drink menu for brunch does not really exist. Only american coffee, a few cocktails and tropicana orange juice. No tea, no warm milk, no skimmed milk, no capuchinno. Only negative thing i noticed. Rest was very very good!"
