At Village Café our goal is to serve the finest food in all of Acadiana. We offer a casual dining experience five days a week, Tuesday-Saturday, during the lunch hour, which includes daily specials. We also have special menu for Sunday brunch. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with most tables encircled by walls filled with a wide array of wines at every price point, as well as specialty beers and liquors.
As night begins to fall, the café takes on a more dimly lit upscale ambiance, with white table cloths draped over the wood tables to enhance the dining experience.
Make no mistake, however, that we remain a relaxed dining spot at all times. We cater to the most casual guest but also attract anyone seeking a more elegant experience. From the River Ranch crowd, which often walks to the restaurant, to those driving in from St. Landry, Iberia, St. Martin parishes and all spots in between, everyone feels welcome no matter what time of day they visit us.
"Good food, menu changes every few weeks,,, but VERY expensive for the Lafayette market. Dinner for two with a tip and with a modest wine was almost $200. This may be the highest price restaurant in the area."
