"I read good reviews here but we were disappointed. First of all, they need to pick someone else as a host/greeter or at least have two hosts available. We went in, he was on the phone and he was talking like it was his friend although it was a customer on the other end. He does not make you feel welcomed to the restaurant at all. He looks like one of those people who do not like their jobs. Our waitress was trying TOO hard to be funny and look cute but unfortunately he was not. I hate it when they fake to get a good tip from you. He wanted to look friendly but he was not. The food was fair. Portions are big like any place you would see. Overall, we had an fair experience and will not go back and/or would not recommend it to a friend."

"Waiter was fairly attentive and took our drink/appetizer orders right away. The hot grilled bread was fresh and delicious. Calamari was excellent. Not greasy or chewy. Lightly floured, flash fried. This place offers both rustic Southern and fine Northern. Mom ordered the Frutta di Mare which was plenty for one person. Hubby ordered veal marsala and said sauce was very tasty. Sausage and broccoli rabe was perfect...garlic was sweet, rabe like spinach, no bitterness at all. Table was too close to kitchen doors, so a little bit too much traffic, but the food quality and service made up for that. We ended our meal with ricotta cheesecake and cappuccino. All in all it was a great night and we were very satisfied."

"With such a limited number of decent upscale restaurants in Weston (perhaps 3), this appears to be the place to see and be seen. The food is good, not great but the prices would suggest otherwise. I’ve eaten here a few times and inconsistent comes to mind. I’ve ordered specials and off the menu. I’ve had fish specials served at room temperature and the vegetables piping hot. I’ve asked servers for recommendations and got rolling eyes and “everything is good” replies. The bartender George is wonderful, but the bar area is tiny and right at the door so the area gets insane crowded. It’s ok, and if you don’t want to drive north, south or east, I guess this is the best choice."

"At the beginning the service was horrible, We arrived as soon as they opened so we were sitting there about 20 min or more with bread and water until I told one of the men that works there if they could took our order and then they realize that nobody was paying attention to us, one of the waitress arrived right away and even though he told us that it was not his section he was happy to help us and he was really nice from then on he start activating the others and then they were really nice and the service super good!!
So what I suggest is if they are not ready to open at five then take another 30 min to put everything in place so when the clients arrive they have a nice experience."

"The arugula and romaine salad with goat cheese was fantastic. Too bad the entree of shrimp and burnt green beans was over cooked and way over-salted."

"Acquolina never ever disappoints. The food is terrific and just about anything you order on the menu is a homerun. Here's a hint, if you are in the mood to sample and go with two couples, you can order four appetizers and be very satisfied. Try the buffarata, the meatballs, sausage and peppers and the eggplant parm, you cannot go wrong!"

"We had 8:15 reservations, but people at the table we were waiting on were taking a long time to pay, so the manager offered us 2 free drinks while we waited the extra 20 minutes. That was a plus! Both food and service were great. It's too expensive to dine at regularly, but I will go back on special occasions."

"Food quite good. Great bread. Did not have desired desert item, zabaglione, alternative which was a ricotta cheesecake was not made fresh that day. Felt we were being rushed."

"If you want quiet, be sure to ask for the outdoor area (which is protected from the elements) -- the main restaurant has an incredibly noisy bar. We had a table for six, two of whom were family members in their late 80's. The servers could not have been more friendly, patient and helpful -- great guys (they were all male)! The food is old-fashioned southern Italian, well prepared. The wine list contains some less-well-known Italian wines that were a treat. We all had a terrific time!"
