"This is based on several experiences with the Persian Room. They do not seem to honor reservations and you almost always get added to the wait list. They do not effectively manage or honor the wait list - regulars and people that make a stink seem to get preferential treatment. It was obvious on several occasions that they were jumping people to the top of the wait list ahead of us and others, who ended up waiting for more than an hour - and we had a reservation. This is the case every time I come to the Persian Room and there is a wait. I can no longer bring friends & business associates here or recommend Persian Room because of this. Invest is a system for managing wait list and reservations and train your staff to be ethical and fair."

"I wish I can comment on the food. We made a reservation for mother's day dinner and when we got there, we're told to wait 30-45 minutes to be seated and have our name added to a really long waiting list. When my mother asked 'so it doesn't really matter if we made a reservation or not?' the answer from the hostess was 'I know.'
The place was really packed and very noisy. I understand it was mother's day but the restaurant has taken in more people then they can handle. My parents decided that even if we had waited for our table, it will be so noisy that we will not be able to enjoy the dinner, so we left.
I wish the restaurant had just kindly tell me at reservation that they just cannot accommodate us so we could have made other plans."

"Had great surprise party at the Persian Room. Reserved upstairs next to the bar. Had many specials to choose from including drinks specials, and 1/2 price appitizers. Quick service, as soon as we were done with our appitizers our entrees showed up. The bartendender was always there with our drink orders."

"I enjoyed my visit to the Persian Room. I have eaten at many Persian restaurants, the best being in Westwood, CA. The food was pretty good at the Persian Room, but the appetizers were a little disappointing. The eggplant appetizer was too oily and the bottom rice was too thick and it was tough, hard to cut."

"It was a joy not to have piped music. The restaurant, on a Saturday night was full, and there was a buzz of conversation. Energetic, yet I could hear other members of my party.
This was our first visit. We shared the combination appetizer platter and then two combinations platters for the main course. I enjoyed the appetizers - good variety. I was a bit disappointed with the main courses - I had hoped for more than grilled meats with rice. Good as far as it goes, but don't they have vegetables in Persia?
Anyway, the helpings were generous. The service good - Thanks, Bill - and we all had a good time.

"Love Persian food. I've been here twice and both times have been pleased with the food and service. I always get the beef koobideh when I do Persian. This is a perfect place for a not-too-expensive nice dinner with a partner. But it's probably good that it's a drive for me or I'd be here way too much. The proportions are large and filling and I've ended up taking a doggie bag home both times. That's saying something since I'm one of those clean your plate guys. I'll be back."

"Second visit within the month! After a great maiden voyage at the Persian Room, we returned with another couple for dinner and socializing. The hostess welcomed us back, having recognized us... and this was after several weeks span from our original visit! Then the waiter greeted us at the table and also welcomed us back... and he remembered my preferred libation! Our guests were delighted with the service and food as were we. Early arrival definitely makes a difference. We arrived for a 6PM reservation, but the place was jammed by 7PM. The noise level is probably the only complaint I can manage, but the sound is of happy diners, dining royally. The Persian Room is special and we will be returning again and again."
