"The wait staff was super nice. Service was efficient. Food was honestly the best Italian I have found in NM. Waitress wrote "his" & "hers" on our take out boxes which was a cute touch. Portions are large & price is very reasonable. The only complaint I have is one of the hostesses dressed like she was going to a club or prostituting on the side, where the other hostess was very professionally dressed."

"Ordered King crab legs, the order consisted of three tiny wrists, one half diameter spiny leg with a tiny claw unedable and three 3" long half inch diameter useless legs .there could not have been more than one ounce of eatable meat in the whole order.This was the poorest example of king crab I probably see in my entire life .Like they say don't order steak in a seafood restaurant! Don't order king crab at trombones. The Italian food was mediocre at best."

"1. Service poor. Took forever just to get a beer. Then when brought the meal there was no offer of parmesean cheese on top. Really, no parmesean cheese??? 2. My friend ordered the lasagne and his portion was huge and he liked it. I ordered the roasted vegetable ravioli. It was bland and the portion was very small. He was stuffed and I was hungry after. Really not good to have such a huge disparity. And the bland could have been helped a lot by parmesean cheese but since the server never came back after dropping the food off how could we even ask for it? In short not a great experience, which is I hope unusual. Most men I go on dates with seem to really like it there. So far I am not impressed."

"This is our fourth time visiting this restaurant and we have always had excellent service. I lived in Sicily for five years and would go to Trombino's every week if I live in the same city. On Easter Sunday, we did not receive the best service we have received in the past. I will still continue to patron this restaurant in the future at every opportunity."

"My wife, son and I have at various times had dinner 3 times in Albuquerque at Trombino's while driving cross country. The first time we read online reviews, but the other times we have made sure to be in Albuquerque to eat at Trombino's.
My son and I were there late Sunday night having just driven from LA. He had lasagne and I had fettucine bolognese. Both dishes were excellent. I can't comment on ambiance, but go for the food.
I was talking with someone at some tech support # and he told me he lived in Albuquerque. I asked him about Trombino's. He told me he often has lunch there. His co-worker suggested they try someplace else for a change but the other place wasn't as good so they are back to going to Trombino's"

"The menu is great.. so many choices. Two of the four of us ordered the pork chops. One of which was not
Cooked all the way through and had to be sent back. The waiter was attentive and worked hard to make us happy, however, did not offer us dessert. Overall an excellent experience as always."

"The food and wine were excellent. I got my favorite, lobster ravioli, to die for! Very nice place for a birthday celebration which is why I chose to go here. We all shared my spumoni ice cream at the end.
Unfortunately, our server was not their usual standard - a first for me. I go for the service and he failed in all areas. He didn't offer us cracked pepper/cheese for our salads or entrees. In addition, I'd put a note on our OpenTable reservation that we had a birthday at our table. I had to bring it up to him which is not how it should go."

"We love Trombino's restaurant. We were delighted to dine there on Valentine's day. The service was, as always, superb. The food was also wonderful. The waiters on staff are so professional. We never felt rushed, even though it was a very busy evening.
Take note for those who like a quiet restaurant, you won't be disappointed at Trombino's. The restaurant was as full as it gets on Valentine's day and we could easily carry on a conversation. Granted, it was all couples, with no small children anywhere. But normally, Trombino's tends to be a "couples" atmosphere anyway. We did take note that it was especially pleasant as far as noise goes that evening.
This truly is a neighborhood gem. Excellent dining!!"

"We were surprised that people who did not have a reservation were seated before we were. To top that off, those people that were seated before us came in AFTER we did. Something wrong with that, don't you think?
However, once we were in, the wait staff took excellent care of us and the food was awesome as always. Too bad they were out of the spinach lasagna at 5 pm. That is what I usually get when I go there.
Even with these minor issues, I still recommend Trombinos."

"This was the first time we ate at Trombino's and didn't know what to expect. It was busy but even with a table of over ten seated next to us our waiter never neglected us and was attentive without being obnoxious. The food was great with a good variety to choose from. We definitely will be going back again."

"I remembered Trombino's to be a more upscale Italian Restaurant, however, that was not the case during our recent visit. I would say it seems to be more of a family restaurant. Our wait person was not very knowledgeable about the menu or the wine list. My salad dressing came in a little paper container like you would put ketchup in at Wendy's, as was the dressing for the appetizers. The fried zucchini was cut like shoestrings or julienned making it hard to eat with little zucchini and mostly the fried coating. The entree had little in the way of presentation and was average at most.
All in all, very average. I suppose I had set my expectations too high therefore a bit disappointed."
