"The location is great and the food was good. However the staff member behavior was shocking. We went their for Mother's day 2013 with my wife and 2 kids. Everybody was dress up and things were going fine until my son needed to go to the washroom. While I took my son to the washroom, my daughter decided she needed to go to so my wife had to take her. So she left our kids stuff at the table which is in a bag. It was just my kids' workbook and a handheld leapster and mobi go. Anyways as my wife headed towards the washroom she was confronted by our waitress. She ask her if she wanted to settled the bill now. My wife was shocked by the confrontation. I didn't hear this until I already settled the bill and decided to not to bring it up."

"Had made 11:00 am reservations. Had to wait for table 5-10 minutes. Finally received drink order at u11:30. Received food at 11:40.
Food was barely warm when received. Breakfast menu items were very few. All food items were grossly overpriced. Food protions were very small. Last year, there were several breakfast items and the pricing was very reasonable (service was good and on time, too)

"We made the mistake of going there on Mother's day. There was a long delay in pretty much everything that happened during our visit - getting us seated, getting our drinks, bringing the appetizers, getting the crayons for the kid, getting the entrées, getting the check and even getting the to-go boxes! The only solace was that the food was great, even though the quantity of the entrée left a lot to be desired (they had apparently thrown a bunch of new items on the menu for Mother's day which even the waitress wasn't familiar with :) )"

"They have recently changed the layout, adding a number of additional tables to the seating area. It does not, however, appear they have increased the capacity of the kitchen or the number of servers. As a result, at peak hours the place is now noisier than before and service is v slow. It was 60 minutes from the time we were seated until our food first arrived, the orders were messed up and the server appologized given the number of people he was serving. My $39 fish dish consisted of a piece of Sea Bass on a bed of edamame - tasty but poor value and overall presentation. They were out of the two items my wife first ordered so she ended up simply ordering a salad. It will be a long time before we consider returning."

"We attended for what we hoped would be a nice mother's day brunch. There were several issues. The crab was low quality and clearly not up to fresh pacific northwest standards. The seating is poorly planned. We sat in a booth facing into the general seating area. Every 30 seconds another customer/waiter sped by our table creating the effect of a car passing you a busy street. Lastly there were no choices on the brunch menu beyond eggs and crab benedict that were brunch choices. I would not recommend this restaurant."

"We ended up just eating in the bar, and having HH food and splitting a salad, entree, and dessert. Of all the places in that area, the HH food is not great, but I guess you get what you pay for. It's cheap, but the quality isn't there, like Daniel's or John Howie. The bartenders were great though. Food total wasn't as good as Daniel's. We had a gift card, so that's why we went. Otherwise wouldn't be our choice, will not go back."

"Spring roll appetizer and chopped salad were very good. We shared the scallops entree. It was just OK. What really struck me was that for $28, you only got 3 scallops. General impression was that this placed was way overpriced for just OK food. Plenty of other places in Bellevue to get better quality, and larger servings for the price."

"We used to live in Portland and had visited and enjoyed the 3 different McCormick & Schmick's locations there. This one was poor in comparison. We learned from the waiter that the chain was recently bought out by Landry's, the biggest restaurant chain in the country. Could have something to do with it, not sure. The food was nothing to write home about. Our server was good, although clearly busy. The restaurant was very noisy and the number of people dining with baseball caps on backwards was shocking. We were definitely over dressed. I think the fact that the restaurant is next to a shopping mall had a lot to do with it. In general, not a good experience. Won't return."

"We've had mixed results at this restaurant over the years. This last visit was probably the last time we'll eat here. The food is not consistent and this last visit the service was horrible. My wife's seafood medley was not at all good. My stuffed Atlantic salmon was very good though. We then had blueberry cheesecake for desert which was really bad. I think our waiter (Peter) had something better to do that night than serve people. There are a lot of choices for restaurants in Bellevue and this one will be at the bottom of our list."

"We went to this restaurant for "the restaurant week" menu as it is one of the restaurants that will do both lunch and dinner in the restaurant weeks. Found out after we were in the restaurant that they do not serve the restaurant week "lunch" menu on Sunday. I don't think anywhere under either the restaurant week's website or McCormick's website mentioned that... Anyway, we did stay for the regular lunch menu. The bread to start with is below average and absolutely have no wowing effect. The food was in between good and average. Presentation of the food was below average. For the price we paid, we would expect more. Service is slow and seems like everyone in restaurant was busy attending/fixing other empty tables in the restaurant."

"McCormick & Schmick's has been a staple in the Seattle area for many years and their menu has changed with the times. A little more varied and interesting than in earlier years, the changes have allowed this landmark to remain as popular as ever. Their Bellevue restaurant is in a killer location, smack in the heart of Bellevue's downtown scene. The vibrant atmosphere is great for business lunch, after-work get-togethers and weekend nights on the town. I wouldn't recommend it for a quiet, romantic meal however. The food and service is good."

"It could have been a much better experience if the waitress was energetic. My son orederd casian shrimp it was over cooked and his rice was under cooked..... On the other hand I had a perfectly cooked flaminyon. The over all experience felt like an average restaurant"

"Our dinners were very good. I had the sea bass and it was outstanding as was the lobster bisque. On the down side, we felt rushed through the whole evening. From being pushed to order as soon as our drinks arrived, to the removal of everyone's plate being removed while I was still eating and the rest of the table being asked if they would like to order dessert."

"We had a group of 8 and were informed it would take a bit longer for dinner service with a large group. That would have been fine, however it took an hour and 45 minutes after we ordered our dinner for it to be served. We were never over additional appetizers and the server could not let us know when it would be ready. It was for a birthday and the birthday guest was served a dinner in which was not ordered, and had to wait longer for the meal to be cooked. I have always had amazing service here, but after this experience we will not be returning."

"The appetizers, drinks and service were all pretty good but our entrees were bad and average. My rib eye steak was fatty and chewy; I am a big fan of rib eyes and I know there is some fat on the cut of steak but the fat on this steak was so chewy my dogs had to work hard. I think this was the worst steak I've ever had, not to mention it was $35, I've definitely had better steaks at lesser establishments or off my own grill for sure. When the waitress asked why I didn't hardly eat any of the steak I told her "it was way too fatty and chewy" then she tried to tell me "that rib eyes are like that" and I told her "I've had rib eye a bunch of times and the fat is fine but the chewy is not". Nothing was done to make me happy with our meal."

"My only complaint is that the waiter messed up my order, and then it took almost 1/2 hour to get my salmon, so that was a bit long, but he did comp it and it was excellent, so I can't really complain. Everyone else in our party loved their food. The mushroom raviolis are the best! I wish you could get them on their own like you used to because I don't eat veal, but I guess that's my problem. Love the Maggiano salad too! Great place. Will recommend and will be back."

"We went for our 22nd wedding anniversary. The service was good but not intrusive. We had made reservations and were seated next to the window in a booth. It was comfortable and we enjoyed looking out. There were so many wonderful dinner choices to choose from that it was hard to select but we finally decided on the Stuffed Salmon with crab and shrimp and the Beef Medallions with King Crab legs. They were both cooked to perfection and the salmon especially tasted out of this world. We had started off with Shrimp Kisses which are shrimp and pepper jack cheese wrapped with bacon. I could easily see having an order of these with a salad for lunch and being very content indeed. Only negative is that they don't do blended drinks-no blender."
