"As we were not from this area, we got lucky and found this place on the web. My wife really enjoyed her whitefish while I wanted prime rib, it was sold out by 6:30 although it was a week night. My next choice was filet which was very enjoyable. We capped it off with the chocolate creme puff. Save room for this dessert."

"We were a bit dissappointed in that our reservation was at 6:30 and I ordered one of the specials and there was none available.
I could understand if it were 8 or 9 pm. Our server told us that she gave the last one to the table next to us who came in after us. She did not apologize and did not offer any suggestions. The meal we did eat was good."

"Set in a Victorian house, the presentation was beautiful, tables were adequately spaced and interior decor was very eye-appealing. The service was prompt and friendly. We had the early fixed price special and the food was well displayed and tasty. Salads were large and varied and the bread basket included very flavorful scones in addition to the hot and mouth-watering bread. For the entrees, the stuffed chicken was especially good. The dessert for two was big enough to feed four. Magnificent ending to a great meal."

"Fantastic meal - Easter brunch - at a ridiculously low price ($19.95). Not your standard brunch fare - the selection was large and diverse. The roasted turkey was divine, and I'm still thinking about the pulled pork and polenta. Excellent staff and service. Very attentive and helpful. I made last-minute reservations for Easter brunch and received a warm welcome. Highly recommended."

"Everyone at our table was happy. The Friday night prime rib was the reason two of us were there and it didn't disappoint. We eat there about once a month. Be sure to sign up for the birthday discount! The waitress was appropriately solicitous and knowledgeable. It can be noisy there, but this time was not very busy - it's a slow time of year."

"This has beena favorte for us for many years. We love the atmosphere in this Victorian Inn and our server was awesome. We've had Peter serve us the last 5 0r 6 times we've been there. We were disappointed in our steaks as they were overdone. It was still tasty meat but my husband and I don't like our steaks cooked that much. This put a damper on our evening!!!!"

"The mushroom bisque is amazing! The service was excellent, and our server was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. The desserts were excellent - the Sanders ice cream puff was beautiful and tasty, and the almond creme brulee was very good. It is definitely worth the 1+ hour drive for us!"

"Restaurant is a Victorian house in an upscale neighborhood. Warm and comfortable. Food was very good, if a little rich. Good portions, good flavor, and fresh. Seemed to emphasize fish, though good variety on the menu. Service was excellent. Waiter was engaging, there when you needed him, and absent when you didn't. Not rushed at all, but everything came when we were ready for it. Good experience, we will likely return when we're in the area."
