"I have dined at McCormick and Schmick's several times, but not in recent years. I unfortunately have to say that the experience on Mother's Day was very poor and we will not be returning to this restaurant. Our waitress was unattentive and forgetful, the food was not hot, and the shrimp were not properly cleaned. The shrimp veins were in full view. No thank you! The restaurant was pretty empty on Mother's Day. This should have given us a clue..."

"It started out with the Host wanting to seat us in a little room with no light. That was not acceptable and we were subsequently placed at a regular table. Sara, our server, was really great on Sunday, she was prompt and extremely courteous, The service we received from her saved the day for us...."

"Very disappointed with the service & food. Waiter was very soft spoken and difficult to understand. Four of us for dinner and when food arrived one dinner was plated incorrectly. Waiter caught before serving and sent back to kitchen. Took nearly 20 minutes to bring back and by then all of our food was extremely cold. Another waiter stopped by to replace our burned out candle - much more personality and enthusiasm in just the few seconds to light the candle! Highly recommend the desserts!"

"The food was awful. The waitstaff did try to accommodate that by removing some of the entrees from our our bill, but it couldn't be saved.

Every entree came to the table with ingredients that weren't mentioned on the menu. For example the grilled asparagus had tomato sauce poured over it.

There was some weird gravy over the lobster mashed potatoes and the chopped salad had olives extra cheese and some other dressing.

All of the fish was over cooked. The shrimp were chewy and the salmon was not flaky.

I would not go back."

"We have eaten dinner at this location (Rush) several times, but not for the past 2 years. Both the food quality and service have declined. We needed to ask several times for our waiter; we thought our food had been waiting a while prior to being served as well. The seasonal specials were OK, the salads OK as well. However the mahi mahi was overcooked and underseasoned. With so many good restaurants in the area, we were disappointed at the (relatively) high price and B- rating of the food."

"We were there for our sons birthday. I loved the fact that I was able to reserve a table online.tThe sea bass was salty and a very small portion for the $$$$.The iceberg wedge was huge, but not enough dressing.The scallops were seared to perfection .The Calamari was cooked to perfection.The overall experience was ok at best. The server didn't really check on us often, so I had to look and inform him that I needed another beer, more water and more bread.Then it took forever to get all items. "This was the worst experience I ever had at a Restaurant. My wife and I had a 7:30pm reservation, we arrived at 7:15pm valet my vehicle. To our surprise the Restaurant wasn't busy. We were seated by the kitchen, so I asked the host "is these seat by the kitchen she replied "No" however the door would hit my wife's sit each time a server exit. I ordered wire it was served in a cracked glass. My wife ordered soup it had to be replaced. A gentleman came to our table and asked how was everything, we informed him of the experience he replied "well how is your entree". We just desided to make the best of it, because it was a special night for us. When we tried to leave the valet couldn't find my vehicle they were giving me another customer's car."

"We tried to make reservations at Shaw's and Joe's Crab but could not get in at the time we needed and we are so glad we couldn't get into either of them. We made reservations at McCormick & Schmick's and loved the quietness of the establishment. Nothing worse than sitting through a dinner and not being able to talk. "Came here for a pre-valentine's day celebration, and as always, thoroughly enjoyed it. Ambience is nice, great window views, and everything we ordered was delicious. The salmon I ordered was perfectly prepared and my boyfriend raved over our bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer. Overall a great experience. If you have a slightly larger group you can also request one of the semi private booths, which we ejoyed during out last dinner out with friends."

"This was my first time here. Everything was good, especially the shrimp kisses. The only downfall was that the peaches in the cobbler were not cooked and my husband had to change to keylime pie. Definitely would recommend for an special occasion/once a year type occasion because the prices are steep. Would absolutely go again. Loved it!"

"My server Miguel needs more training!! I dined with my girlfriend and we were seated at a nice square 4-top table. When the server Miguel came to the table to serve us he never came to my side...always reaching across my girlfriend and across the table when serving me with food plates, pepper mill, removing plates etc. It was a very rude...he should have come around to my side of the table to serve me. Then when he served us desert at the same time he put the check on table. He never asked if we wanted anything else and left. Putting the check on the table at the same time he was serving desert was rude...I took it to mean he ended his service when he left our desert plates on the table, incorrect service."

"The dining experience was very nice although there are two suggestions. First I think that when offered water they should explain that there's free or bottle water. Secondly that the entrees come with sides so there isn't any unnecessary items ordered."

"My wife and I had a chance to go to on Feb 2 to take advantage of Restaurant Week options. We were expecting better, maybe that's why we were disappointed?
Outside of the standard Restaurant Week menu, we order Mussels as an appetizer, which were pretty good. Our server only brought us bread after we asked.
I ordered Clam Chowder and Fish & Chips off the restaurant week menu, my wife chose Caesar Salad and Cashew Crusted Tilapia. I did not expect much out of the Fish & Chips (I was just in a french fries type of mood), and I pretty much got what I expected. My wife was disappointed with her Tilapia.
We both chose Creme Brule for dessert, which did not disappoint."
