Red Bird Restaurant severs eclectic local cuisine with flair. Red Bird Restaurant is opened for intimate evening dining in dramatic architectural surroundings with an art nouveau feel. The Restaurant strives for sustainability and serves local meats, handmade pastas, sustainable fresh seafood & delectable desserts. Our menus change frequently to reflect the wide variety of seasonal foods available regionally. The Wine Bar has over 25 wines by the glass and an extensive representation of Northwest Wines. The Wine bar offers enticing appetizers, fresh salads, artisan sandwiches and petite entrees. Monday night is live music night in the Wine Bar. "We've been visiting The Red Bird since it opened. I've always had the opinion that it is the best restaurant in Montana. We've been dining at the wine bar which has a different menu and it's been a few years since we've eaten in the dining room. I was fully impressed once again with the outstanding quality of the food, which sets the bar for Missoula and Montana. Friendly, courteous and professional service was also noted.
From the amuse-bouche to coffee and dessert every item was delicious.
If you haven't been you are missing out."

"I took my goddaughter to the Redbird for a grown-up dining experience. We had an excellent meal and she had dishes she had never had before. The restaurant was quiet enough for us to have a good catch up conversation."

"I had only been to the wine bar section of Red Bird and decided to make a reservation in the restaurant section to celebrate a special occasion. From the moment we were greeted by the host to the time we left, we experienced a magnificent evening that exceeded each of our expectations. The atmosphere was magical. Our waiter was incredibly professional while also being personal and genuine. The food was unique and divine. The wine top notch and the dessert unlike anything we had ever indulged in. I will never forget our evening and will absolutely return again. It was complete perfection."

"Highly recommend. The best we have found in Missoula. Fish and duck were both cooked perfectly.A few minor and inconsequential glitches with service. Waited a little long for desert to come out but overall, service was very good. Red Bird is definitely at the very top of our list for special occasion dinners out."

"I was a little nervous walking in because the entrance leads to the bar which is very clearly a loud, energy-filled atmosphere. However, the dining area in the back was the opposite! Very relaxing and quiet and incredibly romantic. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a special, romantic and quiet dinner. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous and I will definitely look forward to my next visit at The Red Bird."

"We treated our daughter (and one of her rental-house-mates & one of our family friends) to a dinner in celebration of her birthday.
Our food was exquisite - including 3 of the Red Bird's appetizers, a New York steak, buffalo & duck. The dessert was divine as well.
We were very pleased with the top-notch service.
All-in-all, a very enjoyable dining experience - thanks!"

"Dinner at the Red Bird was lovely. One of nicer features of the restaurant is the ability to choose your experience. You can eat in the dining room for a more formal atmosphere, or eat in the wine bar for a more social and relaxed experience. Either way, the Red Bird was fabulous, and I expect to provide repeat business."
