Dario’s Brasserie is a destination for food lovers in search of casual, elegant dining, located in the heart of Omaha's Dundee neighborhood. Dario's passionate style of cooking incorporates classic French, traditional Belgian and modern techniques including the French method of sous vide. "I had the salmon crepe and it was so salty that I only ate 3 bites. I was disappointed to say the least. The Brie and pear crepe was fair but the cheese did not taste like Brie at all."

"Some people overlook this fine Belgian restaurant, and that's their loss. The food is always wonderful (try the specials), and the beer and wine lists are truly exceptional. The service is friendly and helpful. As a bonus, morels were available. If they still have them on your next visit, you owe it to yourself to indulge. A top 10 Omaha restaurant."

"Dundee is dug up at the time I write this. I had to work my way around a big trench along Underwood, several construction workers, and an earth mover to arrive at Darrio's. It was well worth it. Inside was quiet without any evidence of outside activity. The service was impeccable; needs were anticipated, water was never empty, requests were immediately granted. I ordered a classice American meal; burger and fries. It was perfect. The meat was perfectly medium rare. The fries (pomme frites) were terrific, and the tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles were high quality and fresh. Also appreciated is Saturday lunch. It can be difficult during the week to find the time for lunch, and it can be difficult to find a good place for lunch on Saturday."

"Dario's has one of the best, if not the best, beer selection in town. Several Trappist beers brewed by the Trappist monks. These beers are tasty and if you don't typically like beer, you might change your mind after trying some of the beers at Dario's."

"This is a lovely restaurant in the Dundee neighborhood. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the food is always delicious. There is an excellent selection of Belgian and other beers served in special classes specifically for that type of beer. The Belgian Kir Royale is my favorite drink here and the Belgian Chambord beer float is a unique terrific dessert."

"I had my first dining experience at Dario's this weekend. The road/sidewalk construction outside somewhat "curbed" my enthusiasm as I approached however, as I opened the door and walked in I was pleased with the atmosphere. The place had a quaintness about it that brought to mind an afternoon of sipping wine and visiting with friends about travel locations. As we sat down we were offered a small flashlight to read the menu as some of the room lights were not working properly. We ordered appetizers, drinks and lunch. After finishing the appetizers and drinks, the meal was not to be seen. It took over an hour for our lunch to arrive and only after I approached the server to ask. Twice she told me it was on the way. Too bad, too late."

"We loved Dario's and found the welcome, the service, the food and the extensive drink options to be far better than we expected when we pulled up outside. We were visiting from Chicago and really wished we could bring such a great spot home to our neighborhood. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT !"

"We took my mother out for her birthday here. It was an excellent special occasion choice. The food was great, we had mussels and pommes frites for appetizers. I had the Sous Vide Short Rib and it was melt in my mouth tender. They have a number of interesting beers. I had a Belgian beer called St. Bernardus 12. It was very smooth. The service was attentive and professional. The restaurant was finished well and very clean. The noise level was just right, not like the typical noisy restaurant that is becoming all to common. This was a great evening out."

"Had a great time and cannot wait to go back. The beer list, as expected was amazing. The four of us in our party all tried something different and were all extremely pleased. My mussles were fantastic and the pomme frites great. My husband got the free-range chicken which he said was good, but that the rice as the side was a little too overpowered with lemon. He wished he would have gotten the burger, which we have heard was outstanding. We will go back and try that next time."

"If you like great food, great service and a great beer and wine list you will love Dario's. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. She made a wonderful suggestion for a wine for my wife and a beer for me. They both went perfectly with our food. My wife had the short ribs that are slow cooked for 36 hours. They were awesome. I had the mussels with bacon and blue cheese. Also wonderful. The side dishes and desserts were also very good."

"We have enjoyed everything we have ordered, but their ribs are particularly succulent.
If you are into unusual beers, this is a great place to try new things. The wait staff is very well educated about the beer selection. We have yet to have a bad recommendation. They also make terrific cocktails."

"The service was very good. The sausage appetizer special was really good. The entrees were the pheasant ragout the quail special. The smokiness from the sausage and the pork belly in the cassoulet overwhelmed the flavor of the quail. There were a lot of beans on the plate which made that the focus of the dish instead of the quail. The breast meat of the pheasant was dry. The dish would benefit from stewing the leg meat with the mushrooms and serving the breast seared. The dessert special wasn't great but wasn't terrible. It was okay but not anything to brag about, which was pretty much the theme of the meal- except for the sausage appetizer. That was really good."

"Located in the heart of Dundee, I have been going here since it opened and it never disappoints. True classic European bistro food in a non-intimadating, friendly atmospher. Prices are very low to moderate with reasonable portion sizes. You won't leave hungry. It is like being in a Paris neighboorhood bistro that the tourist have not discovered."

"8 of us had dinner for a birthday celebration at Dario's on a Saturday evening. We had a reservation and they didn't have our table ready when we got there. We stood there without direction and finally decided to head to the bar for drinks. The host came over and told us our table was almost ready so we didn't order drinks but still stood there for 10 minutes. After this initial fluke of an experience, the rest was fabulous. They were accomodating, our waitress was awesome and knowledgable, and the food was absolutely perfect. Dario's is my favorite restaurant in Omaha! The cheeseburger and short ribs are both AMAZING! Everything is amazing."

"Great atmosphere for a date or a special night with the spouse. Service is very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining parts of the menu selections. My wife and I agree, French Onion Soup was best in town! Steak was a little chewy and a bit of a smaller portion, for a main course, but overall experience was great."

"We showed up 5 minutes early. It took the host a couple of minutes to sit us down. Nobody else was waiting and there were three tables open. Of course, we got the table next to the coat rack and the hosting station. Not really that big of a deal. I have always wanted to try the lamb at Dario's but unfortunately they were out of three of the seven entrees. The food was still amazing and the dessert was mind blowing. Note to self for next time: Make the reservation for an earlier time to get more menu options and show up on time (not early). I will definitely go back."

"As always, Dario's was outstanding. Impeccable service, and great food, well prepared and well presented. I had the Rib Eye special with herb butter, and mixed vegetables, perfectly prepared. Wife had Ahi Tuna Salad, again great. This is a never-miss local gem. I think we love it best in the very late afternoon when it is quiet and we have the place to ourselves. The servers have time to stop, and always do, to talk and ask how things are going. Very personable staff. A can't miss place to dine."

"Service was ok, she wasn't attentive enough for what you will pay. Mussel appetizer was excellent. My wife had the short ribs which we fantastic. I had the scallop risotto. Unfortunately the risotto was undercooked and the server said there would be 3 u10 scallops, which if you shop anywhere with fresh seafood, you would know are quite large. I felt once mine came that I had received 3 u10 scallops that had been cut in half. They were extremely thin compared to what I am used to, and having worked in restaurants all over, I know the line cook trick of splitting them to cut costs and how no one notices. Well I noticed and for a $30 plate that is not ok."
