"We went to the Library IV for a Mother's Day brunch; it was great. They had three entrees to choose from and a large buffet with assorted fruits, meats, eggs, pastries, bread. This is definitely worth $21.95."

"Ordered the Prime Rib, best ever cooked to perfection to the point it would just melt in your mouth and very little fat! Service was fast and friendly and did not feel left out at all! Great salad bar and great sselections! Really loved this place and will make a return trip soon!"

"I can typically count on The Library for it's tasty filet. Unfortunately, the piece of meat served to me on Saturday was not up to par. It was cooked properly, but it was somewhat flat on taste, and the texture was a bit off. My fiance' had the salmon, which was also a tad bland. We both chalked it up to an off night. I'll probably return, but might shop around for another steak restaurant in the area first."

"The overall experience was fair. You should not compare the quality of this restaurant to the area's better steakhouses. Bartender not sure how to make one of the more common cocktails. Food was ok. Be sure they truly check you in if you make a reservation through Open Table. It took me a day to get a no-show removed."

"have been dining at this restaurant for over 5 years now, was always great but this last time the food was not good and service was poor. I ordered the blackened salmon as I always do and the filet looked and tasted completely different. Other dishes that we always order also tasted and looked different. Different chef??"

"I have eaten at the Library IV for many years and have noticed that while the prices have gone up, the quality of food has gone down. I needed my table moved because I didn't want to eat in a busy hallway and basically needed permission for the change which finally occurred. I ordered crab cakes which were mediocre and had rice with it. At one time it would have been rice pilaf but instead it was soggy white rice. For $28.00 which was what the meal cost, I did not think that soggy rice should accompany the meal. The salad bar was fine-nothing to write home about. I had a drink which was fine. All in all, the meal was a disappointment."

"Very interesting atmosphere, lots of wood, not bright, and as the name says, lots of books. You order your food after viewing the meats in the refrigerated case, with a limited menu to focus on the meat. Salad bar was expansive and very fresh. Fresh bread and a cheese wheel, which I haven't seen in a long time. Ribeye was very tender, cooked perfectly. Vegetables were not abundant but well prepared. Prime rib was gorgeous and huge; the captain's portion must be 28 ounces or larger. Don't be deterred by the exterior."

"If you are a first time diner at the Library don't expect anyone to explain the ordering procedure. The hostess never asked if we were familiar with the Library. When we were seated our server came over and never told us his name just that he would be our server. He proceeded to ask for our drink order but we wanted to see a menu first. He came back with 2 menus for 5 people which we thought was strange and he thought it was even stranger when we asked for a menu for each of us. He then told us of the menu at the front of the resturant where we were to order. We told him we had never been there and was shocked that the hostess didn't explain the way to order there. He was horrible server either way because he got our drink order mixed up"

"We love the Library for a great steak dinner and special occasions. Our Easter Sunday Brunch was very good! The service wasn't! Maybe because they were busy....but we had to hunt down a server for coffee, and refills, and to order from the kitchen, and to get the bill. "We had the best time Sat night. I've never "danced" at the Library before but the band was great. I was not happy about being seated on the patio when I heard the band would be going on at 8:00. BUT that was the best seat in the house. Awesome time and the food and service, as always, was great too. I'll be sure to ask for patio seating next time I go and there is entertainment scheduled."

"What a great meal!! Note that this is not 5***** dining, but if you want a perfectly cooked, delicious steak with all the trimmings you cannot beat it anywhere. Then include a place where you can have lively conversation, really nice appetizers and a good beer selection.
My group had not been to a Library in a while and we didn't know how to proceed. So it would have been nice if the waitress explained what was expected of us. That is the only reason why service did not get 5 stars. After we got that ironed out, she was very attentive.
My OpenTable reservation was for 7:30pm on a Saturday night, and they were very busy. However we were seated within 5 minutes. Walkins waited 50."

"This is one of my favorite places for special occasions. It is best to make a reservation for weekend or holiday dining as the wait time is long for walk-ins. The food as always is excellent as is the service. A little noise when crowded but I rather have it that way since you know if the crowd is large the food is good! This is a great place too for large group. They can handle it without difficulty or long wait times.

"Very noisy. Sat night and crowded, so volume was somewhat understandable. Fair service at best. Took a long time to get wine we ordered. Ordered steak med-rare and got medium-well. At least management stopped by to make offers to fix the poorly cooked steak, but I was already halfway through my meal. Management get credit for trting to makeup for poorly cooked steak, which was not of good quality by the way.This used to be a good spot. Need more fish entrees."

"The Library IV never disappoints. If you're looking for a full salad bar and a great steak at a reasonable price, this is the place. We eat there often, and our only complaint, if we were forced to report one, is the placement of the wait service station. It's in the middle of the restaurant, and the sound of silverware clanging gets loud at times. Otherwise, it really is a neighborhood gem."

"The food was excellent and the service was great. We usually go to the Library in Voorhees, but we were meeting friends so it was our first experience in Williamstown. It was especially nice that were able to make reservations and did not have to wait the customery hour or so. The only thing I was disappointed in was the salad bar. The one in Voorhees is much more extensive and I was looking forward to the same experience in Williamstown, but was very disappointed. Other than that, we had a great time."

"The food was good although the cost was high considering what you received. Our waitress was unavailable to us. We went for to long a period looking for her in order to receive more drinks or coffee. We have been coming to the Library for the past 13 years in order to celebrate valentines day with our family and after this year have decided to find someplace else to celebrate."
