"Scrumptious and met every expectation. A fabulous menu of selections to choose from, great service and wonderful leisurly dining pace - much appreciated in this fast paced world of "turn the table". This was more of a "we want you to come back" - which of course we will.

"Having dined here in the past and with the price of the meals, I was disappointed this time. Since there were four of us in the party, I did not send my meal back, but it was COLD! "This Easter was our first time at Sidney's, and we enjoyed every minute of it. The bread,served to munch on while perusing the menu, was outstanding - and I am a bread "snob!" Our cocktails were wonderful, too - creative, and there was no stinting on the alcohol. Appetizers were divine, and the entree was absolutely delicious. I would have enjoyed the dessert more had I not been so full from all the delicious food that came before! My one and only complaint is that we had to ask for water, which was promised to us when we were presented with the menus. But...if that is the only thing I have to complain about, well, you get the idea! I can't wait to go back."

"Because of timing we had our 7:15 reservation moved to 6:15. We were assigned a young, somewhat inexperienced server, who did well, considering, but not at the level we had seen before. The server told us menu substitutions were not recommended, something that was not an issue previously. We know the service can be better, that this was just a glitch. The dessert selections mostly comprised chocolate, so my spouse had little to choose from. In fact, one of them mentioned only white chocolate, and not that it contained dark."

"Sidney was a treasure in the middle of nowhere. The Two fish dinners (Monkfish & Hake) we had were more favorable than anything I've had at high-end restaurants. The appetizers (beef carpaccio, scallops, and escargot) were as excellent as I've had in Paris France. The Madonna Montepulciano was a wonderful Italian red (and yes, a fine red can be successfully paired with fish!)Furthermore, the presentation of each plate made you want to photograph it as each one resembled artwork as seen on the Food Channel. Dine there!"

"I love this place, usually! We just had dinner at the Gettyburg location on Saturday,and it was fantastic! A dear friend was in town for his birthday,o When I made the resrvation I wanted to make sure there were some strictly vegetarian options on the menu. The one mushroom item was replaced with escargot, and then the waitress said the fish order doesn't come in until Wednesday.so, was the fish I ordered from the menu and the fish my friend ordered 5 days old??We had to remind the waitress to bring the wine and appitizer. She forgot twice! And that manager?? Not at all fit to greet or speak to the public. She was not nice at all! The food as usual was delicious, I highly recommend the apple tart. They just need to work on the FOH"

"We are frequent dinners at Sidney's and we absolutely love the food that Chef Neil creates. I love being able to try new food! The ambiance is great for a romantic night. We went to celebrate Valentine's Day over the weekend and were extremely disappointed by our service. When spending $100 or more on a dinner for two, one would expect to have great service. With that being said, the other servers in our dining room seemed to be exceptional. We appeared to have an off-night with a server."

"I had made reservations for 7:00 pm. When we arived at the restaurant we were asked to wait at the bar for over 30 minutes. Once we were shown to our table it was directly beside the bar in an area with alot of foot traffic. There were other patrons standing in the bar area that did not seem to care that there were people sitting at a table directly beside them trying to enjoy a meal. The wait staff was promt in taking our order but slow in bring the food. The food was very good. We had ordered dessert after our meal. After waiting for more than 30 minutes and not recieving our dessert we asked the waitress to cancel the order and just bring the check. The slow service appeared to be more of a kitchen problem and not a wait staff problem."

"Excellent food and service. It was our second time here. My wife had the mahimahi, sauce was very flavorful. I had the curry crusted monkfish, very good. Definitely try one of the unusual desserts. Probably the best desserts we have had in 20 years of fine dining."

"Dinner was exceptional. The servers were terrific overall although our server wasn't on top of drinks (a great way to increase the bill thus the tip.) When we ordered a bottle of wine it took a considerable amount of time to arrive. That was a relatively minor challenge for us so this is just a heads up. Overall I'd highly recommend Sidney to others."
