DaVinci Ristorante is an upscale restaurant and wine bar located in historic downtown Salem. We pride ourselves on a diverse and seasonally inspired menu, sourcing the finest meats and produce available from local farmers. Our wine list features over 80 wines poured by the glass, as well as thousands more bottles from our cellar. Along with the impressive wine list, we also feature a full bar and daily happy hour menu.

"Love the food here. Went with a vegetarian this time. She ordered the heirloom tomato stacker salad (which was delicious) and asked for no cheese. We either trad over the mention of bacon on menu or it didn't indicate there was a small truck load of bacon on the salad (which was also quite yummy for me). Rather than ask them for new salad she tried to eat around the bacon versus 'making a scene'.
Would recommend vegetarians are very specific with server that they want noooo meat or animal products on their meal. Server was quietly competent. Food was timely. Filet cooked perfectly. Piano on Saturday evening made conversation almost impossible on upper floor dining area. Very loud!"

"We went to DaVinci's for my wife's birthday. They have a brand new menu and we were very pleased with both our entrees. My wife had a black pasta seafood dish and she claimed that the scallops were perfectly done (she has never said that anywhere else). I had a linguine carbonara that I found to be very tasty.
The restaurant was fairly full, but the service was fantastic. The wait staff were knowledgeable, polite, and very attentive. Our only minor (and I mean very minor) critique is the noise level. The patrons are fine, but the piano in the lounge was terribly loud at times. The playing was great, but the volume made it hard to converse much amongst ourselves .

"The food was amazing as usual, the service was great. The noise level was a lot louder than I had hoped for, for our date night. But, that being said our reservation was also set for 7 PM on a Friday night, can't complain too much since it was packed, and the maitre d' got us seated a good ten minutes before our reservation time anyway. All in all I would definitely recommend this place with the use of a reservation to anyone wanting a nice night out."

"Your ristorante is a lovely place to take your special someone. We loved the whole experience, great food and friendly staff. We liked the piano player's play list but he was a little loud competing with the folks at the bar. Would be a little more romantic if the bar patrons and the piano were a little quieter. Overall it was a geat dining experience. We will definately be coming back again. Grazie"

"We went for a business dinner with folks from out of town and everything was excellent. We ate upstairs and it was really chilly, but the service instantly fixed that and we had an outstanding dinner!"

"We used to come here almost weekly - Loved the bar and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere! That was then - a number of years ago. Now...where to start...when we arrived I ordered a drink, and asked for a cucumber slice and was told they didn't have any cucumbers on the property (funny - one of the signature salads was cucumber based). Then as we were being seated we were told that the previous weekend was extremely busy and a few of the menu items were not available - by the time they listed what was NOT available, there wasn't much left to choose from - we got a good laugh out of that! I had the seafood fettuccine, assured it was a favorite and always fabulous - it arrived lukewarm and the noodles were dry and stuck together -YUK"

"In the past we have selected DaVinci's to enhance special occasions. This time it fell short.
Several restaurants in the area offer food as good as DaVinci - the service and ambience have always made it special. Nothing special about our most recent dining experience and in several areas they dropped the ball.

"We drove in from Medford to celebrate our 2 birthdays. we had a 6:30 reservation but were able to walk in at 5 pm and get a nice table upstairs. The view of the bar patrons was a real show."
