Bill's Bar and Burger
Practice makes perfect...and burgers are no exception. The Bill’s burger evolved from countless tastings, recipes and lots of burger love. The result is a blend of three meats, smashed and cooked on a flattop griddle, served in an all-American seeded bun. It’s your reliable, made-to-order hamburger, plain and simple.
While Bill’s flagship location in NYC’s Meatpacking District opened in 2009 as a small neighborhood joint, it quickly turned heads across the city and was followed by a 400-seat space at Rockefeller Center, the biggest standalone burger joint in the country, and a location ‘down the shore’ at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City. Regardless of size or stature, every burger served is made fresh daily. Grab a seat at the bar and select from a long list of craft brews. Bill’s has got some sweet treats, too, from hand-dipped milkshakes to decadent cupcakes.

"I've heard about Bill's and had an occassion to try it out finally. The food was really good. It was prepared quick and tasted good. Kids loved it as well which is surprising because they hardly eat. Would definitely go back."

"This is our 2nd time at Bill's and my kids requested place to dine. The service is impeccable and quick! It's not fine dining but great for a burger/salad/sandwich and drinks. We went for my daughter's birthday this past weekend and will be back again next month for my son's birthday. He can't wait to go back!!"

"Good food, very friendly and efficient staff and quick service. The restaurant is full of energy! I always enjoy my experience here with or without kids! They have amazing milkshakes that are always a hit with the kids but also have unique adult beverages as well. Highly recommend Bill's Bar and Burger. I find it wise to make a reservation to ensure a table but don't hesitate to try without one."

"The food was absolutely terrific-we both really enjoyed it, and the atmosphere was very down to earth,our kind of place. Service was fast and friendly. We got there a bit before our reservation time and they accomodated us, and I was quite happy about that! I would definitely eat there again!"

Unfortunately we tried to order a mocktail which didn't arrive and after enquiries were made, it turned out that the bar did not have the required ingredients but no one had passed this info to us or our waiter. They did however give us free coffee to make up for this oversight."

""The best burger I've tasted" was one of the party's comments (and they've tried lots!). The burgers really are good and the portions and quality of the food in general are just right. The service we recieved was brilliant. The ambience is busy with TV's showing the games, music and the general noise of conversation but that's all part of the Bill's Burger experience especially at a busy location like the Rockerfella. Good for kids with little kids packs to amuse at the table and delicious cupcakes to take away. Will definately be trying the Meatpacking location too."

"Burgers are their primary menu choice so they should be better than they are. Ordered rare, they came medium well; greasy and tasteless, too. When we showed the burgers to the waiter he agreed that they sure weren't rare and offered to send them back, but what's the point? Burgers at all the tables around us looked just like ours.
The sweet potato fries and onion rings aren't bad, but not good enough that we'd want to come back.
Last time we ate here it wasn't like this. There won't be a next time."

"Only problem was that I ordered my burger medium well and received it initially with a bright pink inside....also my friend ordered a meal but wanted nothing on the bun besides Chicken, just plain chicken on a bun and they ended up serving her the meal with a bunch of extras on top of the bun, so we had to send the food back, my burger ended up being dried out but was still yummy bc of the cheese and jalapeno. Lack of communication between the staff but loved the atmosphere."

"One lowly Saturday evening, my boyfriend and I decided that we were in the mood for a good, juicy burger. Bill's was the closest to our then location. We've been before several times so we knew what we were in for. I've always liked the burgers and especially your shakes, yum!! Howevver, I'm not too crazy about the service. It seems as though the lack of efficiency and upbeat attitude seems to be the norm. Trust me, being a server in NYC is not a cakewalk, but if you're gonna work in the F&B industry, especially on the floor, act like you like your job. If it weren't for the tasty burgers, this place would not be on my list to intermittently go. Sorry to be harsh!"
