"I had not been to Bar A for several years - it use to be one of my favorites. It is now a Sports Bar - this is not what I was lloking for for dining. Very disappointing"

"Went for dining out for life; so was willing to forgive a little bit of lag in the kitchen. The waitress, while incredibly friendly was very slow and the meal ended up being 2.5 hours without alcohol. The food was passable, I had ordered the green chicken and sour cream enchiladas. Having lived in the southwest for many years, I was underwhelmed by the flavor and the "enchiladas" were really fried flautas sitting on top of a sauce. My friend ordered the calamari which were completely overcooked and our sliders came out lukewarm. Finally, having been there 2 hours, the waitress should have informed us the Carmel apple tostada takes extra time...
I'm glad we dined out for a good cause, but this is not a restaraunt I would recommend."

"We had a large group and our server was fantastic. She took the time to make sure that everything was taken care of and that everyone's orders were correct.
The food was amazing and the drinks hit the spot.

"Probably our fault for not checking the schedule but had planned to have 6 friends meet for conversation, it worked well for the first 45 minutes and then the salsa dancing/lessons began and totally drowned out conversation with anyone but the person directly next to you. Management was apologetic and did try and reduce the volume but would not plan on going there on salsa night if you have any thoughts of a lingering dinner conversation. Food was good, guacamole excellent, onion rings were subpar - too thin to get any onion flavor. Server was very new but did fine other than not knowing the tap beers. Might go back for lunch sometime."

"My husband and I wandered in on a Friday night around 5:00 p.m. To our surprise, EVERYTHING on the menu was $2.00 off until 7:00 p.m. It made for an inexpensive and delicious date night!"

"Had a nice dinner with friends....we ordered drinks first and one of the glasses broke at our table. The staff and owner were awesome and compensated for it with tableside guacamole. Nice touch - very attentive service and good food."
