"For years we've taken friends and colleagues to this RAM at a convention each year. But this year, after our first visit, we abandoned the restaurant for the rest of the convention.
Service was adequate but inattentive; drink refills happened only upon request, and not always then. But the food was decidedly sub-par this visit, with soggy, salty fries and only the smallest bits of green on the sandwiches we'd chosen specifically for the avocado topping. One of our party showed the server the tiny avocado topping and was given some additional slices (as appropriate). When I asked if I could have some as well, I was told it would be an upcharge.
Overall, we were not impressed, and we moved to another restaurant for later meals."

"Sloooooooooooow service during lunch on a Friday. I was having my birthday lunch here with my brother and mom, and the waitress never checked on us after we were served our meals. In addition, she dropped the check off, and she didn't ask if we would like dessert. What's a birthday without a birthday candle?"

"I know Ram isn't the premier brewery in Chicago - but the Hefeweizen I had was pretty good. I'd go back for the beer, but not the food. I had the wings - and they were subpar. Another of us had the burger that was good. Again - the beer was pretty good stuff, but the food was ... meh. Oh ... and the interior of the place was tired and old."

"We went to celebrate my birthday. I had a taste for shrimp but they weren't on the menu. The waiter said we'll be happy to make them for you. They were delicious. The manager came over and wished me a happy birthday and gave us 25% off the bill and brought mud pie for dessert. The afternoon was fun and I enjoyed lunch."

"The beer selection was great and our server, Mike, did an outstanding job of explaing the different types. Food was fine, nothing exceptional, but fantastic for the price. The Ram had better service than most places where you pay twice the amount for food. Overall, great atmosphere, exceptional service, great craft brews and great bang-for-your-buck."

"We enjoyed our evening at RAM. Our waiter was very friendly without being intrusive. The food was good. I had the Santa Fe Burger, my husband had the Rambalaya, and our friend had a steak with peppercorn sauce; all of us were pleased with our meals. Dessert was a mountainous and steaming bread pudding (enough for all three of us) with a cinnamon-tinged caramel sauce that reminded me of hot apple cider on a cold Autumn day. We're fans of the RAM in Wheeling, and now we are fans of this RAM in Rosemont."

"The atmosphere was pretty noisey and so a bit hard for conversation, but service was good. The burgers were very tasty, but was not cooked to specifcation. The server was helpful though."
