"The specials that were recommended by the waitress were very good. Unfortunately , she didn't give the prices and when the bill came it was shocking! Expensive!!"

"The food was okay although we don't eat sushi. That is the main attraction of the restaurant and I would not recommend it if you just want a meal other than sushi. It is very crowded to the point of tables way too close together that you cannot carry on a conversation without everyone hearing you. So close that the waiter and other people bumped into our table a couple times. The service was not great. It was slow and the noise level is very high. We went there once before and thought we would try it again, concluded that we won't go back."

"Inventive, tasty dishes. Had a sushi appetizer that was certainly not "traditional" but with same end result -- a burst of great flavors in the mouth. Inventive dishes in another sense -- the variety of plates were were designed to fit the food -- or vice versa. Eg, three seared scallops on mashed potatoes (believe it) served in a row on a long, narrow plate; "wavy" plates with indentations for sauces; gotta see to appreciate. Attentive, knowledgeable server. Was very noisy on the Saturday night we were there, not for the hearing challenged then but weeknights are supposedly quieter. All four diners in our "party" would definitely return."

"The waitress tried to get every dime out of us, and sadly we didn't know any better.I couldnt drink and my husband didnt know anything about sake so the waitress said she would pick out a reasonably priced sake (which on the bill was actually $55 which is not reasonable). She asked if we wanted fresh wasabi which we agreed to but the bus boys cleared our table against our protests before all our food arrived our fresh wasabi was taken and never replenished yet we were still charged $5 for it. When the busboys cleared our plates too early the waitress did not reset our table causing us to get up and find someone else to get us napkins and plates. And she talked us into ordering what ended up being enough dessert for 5 people. We got duped!"

"A little of a wait for Saturday evening. As the bar area is packed with tables, it was awkward hanging out next to other diners. Bulky snow jackets didn't make it easier. When seated waiter was attentive. Food was very, very good. Good pace of dishes coming in. One of the best sushi places in the West suburbs."

"The sushi and rolls are fresh and creative. Definitely a step up from other local sushi places. Waitstaff is extremely helpful. The decor is very clean and cool. My only complaint is the bar area. It is just too tight when you are waiting for a table. Great drinks though!"
