"Scheduled a business lunch at 11am on a Friday. Perfect spot. We were one of the first there so it was easy to talk while having a meal. Friday fish fry was delicious. I would recommend it again."

"This was a mother/daughters outing and we found the atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable and fit for any occasion. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. I had the roast pork and it was so tender and just fell a part as I ate it. Almost melted in my mouth. When we first walked in we thought that the prices would a little high, however, we were surprised and delighted to see that the prices were reasonable and you get a great amount of food for those prices. We even had leftovers. Highly recommend North Star American Bistro to everyone for any occasion."

"Although the food was good as usual, the coffee was terrible. In fact, it was so bad that I couldn't drink it even after I put in cream and sugar. I usually drink my coffee black but the coffee I was served tasted like it was badly burnt. I did something I almost never do...asked that the charge for coffee be taken off my bill.
What is Sunday brunch without decent coffee? The bloody mary bar is terrific but after enjoying one of those, coffee is a necessity."

"My husband and 12 year old son visited North Star Bistro and had a delightful evening. The waiter was knowledgeable and served us promptly even though the restaurant was very busy. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lively on a Friday night. We would definitely return to North Star Bistro."

"This is a good restaurant if you have children. The family room has toys and activities for the little ones while the adults can enjoy a nice meal. It's better food than your typical chain however it's a bit overpriced based on the quality of the food. I've eaten here a dozen+ times and never had a "WOW!" meal which I would expect for the price but the dinners are solid."

"I have eaten here more than half a dozen times. Meals have always been delicious and prompt. Service staff is eager to please but not overbearingly so. Everything from appetizers to desserts are artfully displayed and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the North Star American Bistro."

"The restaurant itself was great, but they didn't have my reservation through open table, which meant that we had to eat at the bar. So you might want to pick up the phone and make a reservation the old fashioned way for this restaurant."

"There were 6 in our party which was celebrating a birthday.
We had brunch.
It was terribly cold and drafty inside by our table, so much so that our coffee got cold immediately and we ended up eating with our coats on which made it less than comfortable or perfect.
Service was rather slow and not very attentive. I had to get up at least once to ask to have our cold coffees filled.
One person who ordered the Belgium Waffle said that the waffle was overly crispy, as were my potato pancakes of my North Star Benedict.
Other than that a great menu selection.
They just need to do some fine tuning!"
