CRAVE offers fresh and innovative cuisine along with an impeccable wine selection brought to life in a chic, yet casual atmosphere. "This restaraunt is just too expensive for mediocre at best food. Ordered a glass of wine, cheapest wine on the menu was 8$ and it tasted like an 8$ bottle of wine. We each got an entree because of a coupon we had. Both were 20$ stir fry and then chicken breast, could have made better stir fry and chicken at home and for a lot less money. Luckily we had the coupon or this would have been the biggest waste of money. Will never go back again."

"We were in Omaha for our daughter's graduation from Creighton University. It was a perfect spot for a special celebration. Food choices were just a bit different from the typical restaurant, and all 6 of us were delighted with our choices. Service was wonderful."

"My experience at Crave was very positive. The wait staff was attentive without being overbearing, and our dinner was served quickly, as we had a concert to attend. We honestly were tempted to skip the concert and just stay and drink more wine, we were having such a nice evening. But, we were expected to be there, so we reluctantly left. The chicken dishes my friend and I had were delicious, the chicken being moist with just the right char from the grill. My other friend had a beautiful looking salad entree and was very complimentary of the dish. The dessert was shared by all of us and was a very nice ending to a nice evening meal."

"The food was decent but WAY overpriced for what it was. They don't even list the price of the drinks in the menu. The service was not that great, our waiter didn't offer to refill anyone's drink or ask if anyone wanted another drink. The "meatball" was so tough I had to use my knife to cut into it, the portions weren't overly large either. It was a disappointment for sure!"

"this was our first time to any resturant in Mid-Town Crossing and this was a wonderful dinner. Sitting outside enjoying the weather the food was fantastic and overall it was a truly wonderful experience.

"The food was just ok. No one walked out the restaurant raving about the food. I had the sea bass but it didn't have any flavor. Nothing special about the night. Our server was very nice and knowledgable.

"Was very excited to choose this restaurant to take MOM... realized after I made reservations that there would not be the usual menu, but a "Breakfast Buffet" for Mother's Day instead. My timing must be bad because every time I got up to try to get food, most items were depleted and not refilled. Was definitely disappointed, but could tell on a regular day this place was probably something I would really enjoy. I'm certainly never a buffet fan, especially when little ones have their fingers in/on everything in site. Lines for food seemed to come in waves of 50 at a time. Missed out on strawberries, cream puffs, shrimp, salmon, cheeses, etc. For $24 pp, definitely didn't get what I paid for. :("

"The wait service upon arriving was horrible. We arrived a little early and they were not overly busy (perhaps 55% was full). We almost decided to leave due to being ignored for quite some time. The staff preferred seating our elders, even those who arrived well after us, instead of attending to the two young females dressed for an opera that evening. We finally asked to sit at the bar and eat our meal there, where we knew we could have the attention and service from the bartenders. The gentleman behind the bar was very attentive and helpful and the food was extremely pleasing. The lady who was also behind the bar checked on us several times as well. Had we been greeted appropriately, this restaurant would have received five stars."

"Just my wife and I and since Sundays are "kids eat free" night there were a more than a few kids. Have been there on a different night to - both quality nights. Get what you pay for - superb waiter, nice outdoor section in summer, great menu, tables far enough apart that you are not "dining with strangers.""

"I've been to CRAVE a few times and I have had great service and food. I thought CRAVE would be the perfect place for my sister's and I to take our mom. Our service was lacking; she was running around the place like she had too many tables. I try to be understanding since I used to be a server for a handful of years, but the restaurant wasn't that busy and she was really slow. When she did tend to us she spilled drinks, dropped things, etc.
Our dinners were delicious but took about 30 minutes.
We ordered dessert. The tiramisu and the carmel salty thing were delicious. The passion fruit creme brulee was HORRIBLE.
I would still recommend CRAVE as my three other experiences were positive, but not this one."

"We went to Crave for Mother's Day Brunch. Usually Crave has both brunch and menu items, however this time only brunch. For the cost, it wasn't very good. The selection was poorly laid out and very small in variety. 4 versions of scrambled eggs, some lunch items, prime rib, and turkey breast, antipasto, peel and eat shrimp, and a salad with toppings. No omelet station, no waffles, no pancakes, basically bacon and eggs for breakfast. There was a cinnamon roll french toast that was tough and flavorless. The layout of the buffet made it hard to negotiate. I couldn't find butter anywhere, they didn't even have salt & pepper on the table. Our waiter couldn't have cared less about serving us, we had to ask for everything."

"I dined at your restaurant on Mother's Day for the Grand Buffet Brunch. Though the service was decent, the brunch was disappointing. When we went through the buffet line, many options were empty. The hashbrowns were cold, chicken tenders hard, and turkey not moist. We returned for a 2nd pass and many options at 11:45am were empty. For $26 a person, I expected more and would not recommend your brunch in the future., Our waiter checked on us only 1 time the hour + we were there. The Supervisor did introduce himself and was very welcoming and polite. The food was a letdown and I don't plan to return."

"We should've known when we sat down it was going to be bad since the 3 tables around us were all upset. After 15 mins we had our order taken. An hour later our entree showed up missing one entree. We mentioned we never received our two appetizers. We were told they would be out shortly. What?? Appetizers after the entrees?? Drink refills during that hour were scarce. Good was good but after an hour of waiting the table napkins looked tasty. They kept blaming Mother's Day but the restaurant was only half full at 7p."

"I have been to Crave many times and I am always amazed by the service here. The management is more than happy to correct anything that is not up to par, which is not often. Additionally, their regular menu is outstanding and I almost always have a great a meal. But, while the service I experienced was great, my meal was really underwhelming. I had the sesame ginger Alaskan halibut off the "CRAVE Cares Menu", and sadly it was really unimpressive. The dish was very heavy on the ginger and there was very little sauce, which made the soba noodles hard to eat. I expected there to be more of a soy/miso flavor to this dish based off its description, but that wasn't the case. Halibut was dry, too. It's too bad, because the dish sounded so good."

"Appetizers were excellent. We had the the Shrimp artichoke dip with pita bread- delish! My main course, was pretty bland. I had the Chicken Parm Oscar and it had very little flavor. My freind had a shrimp, pineapple, barbque flatbread and it was excellent!

"The salmon fennel salad was refreshing and had great flavor. I wish their were more salad choices. With further regards to the menu it seems like bacon and pancetta are used in a lot of the sauces. Please consider other options. The smaller desserts are a nice touch to the menu.
Our waiter/server was not attentive to us. It seemed as though we had long waits for beverages and to order a dessert. He did not mention any specials (food or drink) nor offer any help with menu selections. This was completely opposite to the customer service we received previously at Crave when we had a top-notch waitress that was very helpful and focused on providing superb customer service."

"My friends and I had dinner at CRAVE on Friday, May 3, 2013. This restaurant is new to Omaha and I've eaten at their places in the Twin Cities so I knew what to expect and was very pleased. A member of our group has special dietary needs so I noted that with my initial reservation. Lydia, the manager that evening, called several hours before our reservation to discuss the needs. I was impressed with the advanced research she had done prior to calling. She wanted me to have the seating host direct her to our table on arrival so she could talk with the person about the needs, and the two of them satisfactorily worked out what to do. Our waiter was attentive, everyone was pleased with their meals, and we had a great time. We'll be back!"

"We had a 7:30 reservation and were seated promptly. However it took 45 min for our salads and 1:30 for our food to arrive.The waiter was clearly embarrassed and avoiding us.We were never advised of a reason for the delay. Our check was over $200, and management never extended so much as an apology.We were giving it a second try after a mediocre experience a year ago.Probably won't go back."

"Great food (lots of options too!) and a huge wine list. The restaurant is aesthetically appealing and enjoyable and the service was very good. I would recommend CRAVE to anyone who wants a wonderful meal for a decent price!"

"1. husband ordered a Rum and coke, which arrived and tasted very watered down. was very clear, as if no coke was in it, yet had little alcohol flavor. not happy with it.
2. spring vegetable soup was almost inedible. tasted purely of pureed peas, and was not good.
3. chicken caprese arrived overcooked, yet they only provided a butter knife to cut it. it was difficult even using the butter knife to cut it. the skin was still on the chicken and it had a lot of fat on it. tasted bland.
4. grilled ceasar salad was the worst ceasar salad i've ever tasted.
5. sushi was actually pretty good. i would have preferred it to be colder though. it was warmer than room temperature, with i thought was odd."

"The food and atomosphere was great. the issue was the service was very poor. We had a party of 8 and the waiter was guranteed a tip already. we arrived at 6:45 and left at 9:45. We ordered our 3 desserts at 8:40 and didn't get them until almost 9:30. not acceptable."

"My seared Tuna, ordered rare, was poorly seared and cold, not cool, inside. Artisan salad served with it was a few bean sprouts and a couple Artichoke hearts with a non-descript dressing. First restaurant I ever saw that didn't have Beefeaters Gin. My wife ad a "Special", halibut. She said it was dry and tough, which means to me it was overcooked. It was served with a pasta mixed with shredded carrots or something which made it difficult to eat in a mannerly fashion. Overall we were disappointed in the food in this expensive eatery. On the other hand our service was excellent. Won't go back again."

"Walked in impressed, left dissatisfied. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good. It was the menu that was confusing. The restaurant has no identity. They call them self American flare, but they have items that are Japaneses, Italian, Spanish, etc. I didn't see anything with any American flare. That wasn't the down fall, because I actually went there looking for a Japanese dinner, so I ordered Seared Ahi Tuna, which one would expect to be flavored with a Japanese like sauce (being this place is a sushi restaurant), instead it was flavored with some off Spanish spices that really did not go with the fish. On the plate there was also cold grilled tomatoes, cold artichoke hearts, and a cold Spanish guzo. For the price... not good."

"Dinner was great and our waitor was wonderful. We had some issues with the Open Table reservation system. The hostess told us that they had stopped taking online reservations and that they weren't checking the online reservations anymore. They kept trying to sit us at the bar, but after voicing my frustration several times they magically found an open table."
