Da' Pasquale is perhaps the only local trattoria that, since its inception in 1989, has consistently prepared all of its dishes in the rich southern Italian tradition of Naples without pandering to American taste buds or trends.

Italian favorites, like Pasta e Fagioli, certainly need no introduction to the experienced diner, but, if it"s your first time eating at Da Pasquale, you may just feel like you have been reacquainted.

This family-run restaurant takes pride in creating an atmosphere as close to home as you will find outside of your own dining room and is one of the last truly family-friendly restaurants located in Beverly Hills.

"Intimate space, maybe a little too crowded for a romantic liaison. Service was friendly and prompt. The food was well prepared and very tasty. We started with the caprese salad which was fresh and light. We ordered two of the specials for dinner. The pasta was done well; just the right firmness. The lamb chops were simple and tasty. I will be back again."

"Da Pasquale: like a Porsche masquerading as a Ford. I walked here with my son because I was too lazy to cook that night and the reviews looked good. Very low expectations. What a shock: true neighborhood gem; I travel to Italy often on business and for two hours I was back in some Italian small town without tourists. Service was great, food was incredible, prices were too low to be believed. If you impress people by buying a Porsche, avoid this restaurant. If you really care about the qualify of food and true small-time Italian ambience, Da Pasquale's is exemplary. My only regret? "My brother from Chgo, found your restaurant on his i-phone (I live in the SFV valley), so came to your rest. and found the the food like the food we grew up with in Chgo. Our family is from Naples, so your food had the wonderful, familiar flavor that Italian restauants do not have here (at least in my opinion). It took my brother and his family who do not live here to find your restaurant! I've been twice now, and one of my friends came a couple days after attending with me with her family. "This is a favorite spot for us. A real local gem. Family run in every aspect---
From chef to servers. And they are all charming Italians. It is as authentic as you can get
Outside of Italy. The food never disappoints. Love the hot pizza bread they serve and the

"A great Beverly Hills neighborhood gem. There is nothing bad to say about the food, atmosphere, and service. It's tough to get a reservation sometimes because of its popularity, but when you get in, you won't regret it. The eggplant parmesean is one of the many reasons I come back and it's just generally a good Italian restaurant where anyone can find something they'll enjoy."

"Da Pasquale is an excellent restaurant, with some dynamite food and a very nice wait staff. But even with a reservation, we had to wait a bit, and there isn't really any good place to wait. It was elbow-to-elbow with quite a few other patrons. I'd say it was good for a romantic meal, but there's not a lot of privacy and the noise level is bit high.

I would gladly return, but with a better idea of what to expect."

"Came here for my brother's birthday and had a fun night! The food was superb. My pasta with clams was delicious, and my boyfriend's pizza was melt-in-your-mouth perfect. "The restaurant offered excellent bread that goes well with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The entree are simple and clean. Wide variety of drinks and the waitresses are very helpful describing the dishes. However, they didn't offer us pepper or Parmesan cheese as opposed to the other customer (They ordered the same as we did). Suspicious about this notion, and next time I try the place again, fair service should be given."

"My wife chose this restaurant as part of the Dine LA promotion. We invited friends to join us and drove from Pasadena. The restaurant is quiet loud and the tables are close together. When we asked to see the fixed menu for Dine LA our waitress told us it is not offered on weekends. We were there on a Saturday. Unless we missed something nowhere did we read that it was restricted to Mondays-Fridays.
The food was good. The service was slow and unresponsive. I was asked if we wanted more bread and I said we did. It never came. When I asked our waitress about it she said that it was probably still baking. Bottom line, it never came.
I personally think it is bad form not to honor a promotion that is as highly touted as Dine LA."

"I was disappointed. The pizza was not great and the server said they were trying out their new brick oven and still trying to get it right - she asked for our opinion of the pizza. Maybe they should have comped it or charged half! The chicken parm was not especially good - very grainy breading. The only thing excellent was the filet of sole on the Dine LA menu. And it ended up being pretty expensive - $153 with tip for 4 people, one of whom only ordered a pasta, and we brought our own wine."
