"Water and Wine has an interesting menu with enough diversity to satisfy most people. The view of the water is quite nice. Service provided by waiter "Larry" was exceptional and the assistants were competent and pleasant. Don't wait for a special occasion, but it fits that bill too. Short ribs were a standout! We will visit again!"

"Overall food and service was good. We had a nice table overlooking the water, so that was nice. I wish the water was more forthcoming with how large the appetizers were, we would have ordered less to share. There was a loud crying baby next to our table that should not have been there - I would have expected the help to ask them to take the baby out side. Overall all nice place and I would return too give it another shot."

"We were a party of 5 celebrating a birthday. When we arrived, we were promptly seated at a great table with a view of the lake. Our waiter was patient (5 women) and friendly without being too familiar. The food was really good. Two of us went with the Prix Fixe meal and we were very pleased. I opted for the NY strip steak, which was wonderfully seasoned and cooked perfectly. The other meals chosen were the rack lamb chops, the pasta with Lobster sauce and the Divers scallops. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous. We will definitely go back there."

"The prix fixe lunch is basically the same each time I go but the food is always very good (I especially like the garlic shrimp appetizer and the organic salmon main course). The service is excellent. My three friends and I celebrate our birthdays there and we have all gone at other times also.. The prix fixe price is good for what is offered except I think adding $4.00 for a tea bag is a bit much. The only downside is that the noise level is very loud when fully occupied."

"This was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a very long time. So glad we chose it to celebrate my dad's milestone birthday. All four of us opted for the prix fix menu and it was OUTSTANDING. My mom said it was the best salmon she has ever had and my husband enjoyed his short ribs very much. My appetizer, stuffed mushrooms, was great. It was enough for a meal! Our server was charming, witty and friendly. They remembered it was my dad's birthday (many places would have forgotten) and when dessert was served, they included a candle, good wishes and more conversation. We ordered a bottle of wine at a reasonable price plus my dad said his Beefeater martini was perfect and generous. Will definitely return!! GREAT!"

"Marino gave us great service. He was professional, kind, attentive, and friendly. When I called him he was there in a quick flash with a smile on his face. The food was excellent and all of your staff from the parking attendant to the person who poured the water was excellent. You have a great staff. There is only one little comment. "i have been here several times before and found that i did not enjoy much on the menu except for steamed or fra diavalo lobster. i was so pleasantly surprised this time. first of all they renovated the restaurant since i was last there and it looks so much better. coincidentally they did not have lobster, i was told due to the season the prices had gone too high. that initial disappointment quickly subsided as i tasted each dish that came to the table. my wife and i both had a salad with grilled eggplant and zucchini in it, really delicious. my scallops with farro were prepared perfectly, my friend's pasta was also really good. item's from the raw bar were fresh and served perfectly. i cannot wait to go back."

"First time here, very nice and lived up to all the hype and good reviews. Only drawback was that at 7pm on a Saturday night we were the youngest couple there. I guess this place is more for the older crowd which is fine but typically we like to be where the younger crowds good. However the food was very good, view of the reservoir was very nice as we got "the last table by the window" and service was outstanding."

"Our first time dining here and we were not disappointed. the ambiance was nice but cud use a splash of color. Apps were amazing.I had Spicy Seafood Risotto, it was excellent although not spicy but that's ok with me.My wife had the crabcake.We agreed it was the best we ever had and we've had alot.I went with the Wild Boar chops special. While the meat was nice and tender it lacked flavor.The pistachio crust didn't add much at all. My wife's potato crusted red snapper was a bit dry the buerre-blanc sauce did help and added some flavor. Desserts were fabulous. The bread pudding and peanut butter dome were dynamite. The Quartino of wine is a nice affordable option also. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and look forward to returning"

"Beautiful scenic view, especially at night! Very good service, staff is friendly & attentive. However, I was a little disappointed in the food. The majority of the items we ordered were very good, but, the rack of lamb I ordered, and the filet mignon which someone else in our party ordered, were both a bit overcooked, and, a little on the tough side. All-in-all, it was a pleasurable dining experience, but, quite expensive for a large party of 8, such as ours. I would probably only return to celebrate a special occasion, as it is a bit cost prohibitive for frequent dining."

"We love it here. One of our favorite restaurants. The entire management and wait staff are genuinely concerned about your satisfaction. Food is excellent, generous portions, and beautifully plated. Most prices are a little higher than moderate, but worth it. Specials run in the $30's. Great wine list, and some very good selections by the glass. We always recommend Water and Wine to friends. Never a bad meal."

"Great Valentine's Day dinner here. Nice ambiance overall- the bar room is on the smaller side but if you get there early they have couches in front of a fireplace that is really charming and cozy. Great drinks- the "tropical" Paradise Martini was a nice start to the evening. Good service overall and the food arrived in a timely fashion- we never felt rushed. The meatball appetizer, while on the bigger side, was delicious. The Red Snapper I had was perfectly cooked. We all shareda peanutbutter/chocolate dessert that was divine. I would definitely recommend W&W and we will be coming back- hopefully in the summer when we can really enjoy the view over the lake!"

"This restaurant has it all-beautiful lakeside view, excellent food and wide selections of choices. The cost goes from reasonable( (particularly the priced fix menu) to high end for lobster and seafood bar. Service is friendly and efficient, and you're comfortable if you want to linger."

"Very loud restaurant. Food is quite good and the view is lovely is you can get a table on the window. Bar is small and crowded as many locals eat at the 10 seat bar. It would benefit this to redesign the entire front room into a large bar and lounge. Love the fireplace.
Good service with great food. Just wish the temp of the food was still hot when it was delivered."

"We had dinner here after hearing very good things about the food and service. They were true. They accommodated us with all the requests that I made when making the reservation. What a wonderful place with a view and excellent service! And oh yes, food was delicious. The portions were good size. Our server, was attentive and very friendly but not intrusive. They truly made us feel like old friends by the end of the evening.
They have extensive and reasonable wine list
We were absolutely shocked at how unbelievably warm, romantic, welcoming and sophisticated this local gem was.
It was a great experience. A true 'MUST VISIT' for anyone for any reason. Would love to go back!"

"Once again, Water and Wine exceeds expectations. The food is always perfect, the service is always friendly, not stuffy. The staff is attentive but not intrusive. James the Maitre'd know his guests and went above and beyond for us. He remembered that my wife and I like to take our time and not rush because, with 2 youg kids, we dont dine out alone much. He told service staff and kitchen to really space out our meals without any mention by us. It was not only aprecciated but very kind on a Friday evening when the restauarant was very busy. Thansk again for outstanding service and food. Thats why we always come back."

"Noisy, but good food. Minor disappointment that the spicy risotto was not spicy (actually rather plain) and undercooked. For a 6pm seating risotto should not have been a backlog issue in the kitchen."

"My wife and I had dinner here after hearing very good things about the food and service. They were true. We had the arugula salad (delicious), a special lump crab appetizer (good, needed salt), pappardelle with shrimp (flavorful -- very good) and wide noodles with short ribs (rich and wonderful). The portions were of good size but not wasteful. Our server, Adam, was attentive and friendly but not intrusive. Recommended!! One note: make sure you have reservations."

"Although the overall experience and service was very good, the food itself was not that memorable from a taste perspective and preparation the quality standard based on the price we paid from the ala carte portion of the menu. If I were to recommend this restaurant to anyone I would also suggest that the order from the Prix fix menu since it had a large selection and the price was more reasonable. If I go back I will go this route."
