"My wife and I were very happy with the food here... we don't eat at steakhouses in this price range often but we have been at a handful of them and this is either tied or is the best depending on which of us you ask ;-p
It was a tad noisy in there but it was an odd crowd being a Sat night at peak hours on a prom night. Many of the tables were over 10 people instead of normally a bunch of couples on a night out like I am used to at restaurants in this price range. I think the noise level was due to a odd night... nothing in there made me think it was normally that loud."

"First time at this Ruth's Chris & it did not disappoint. Our party was 8 people that eventually became 10 people. Table guests were coming & going & our waiter was so patient. He had to wait & wait until our conversations came to a pause to take our orders, which still ended up taking 20 minutes (!). We had calamari & seared tuna appetizers. Most of us ordered steak which was prepared perfectly. We had a table full of side dishes: baked potato, asparagus, spinach, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes. Yes, 3 different potato dishes which were all delicious. Our table was not in a hurry to leave & we were not rushed. This Ruth's Chris lived up to our expectation & everyone on the staff was gracious & provided exceptional service"

"Great food as always.
Be very very clear to enunciate the number for your wine selection. I ordered a wine that was $110 dollars a bottle for our anniversary. The waiter brought the bottle just above it in the list from the same winery so I failed to notice the mistake till it was too late and we ended up consuming a $250 bottle instead.
You can imagine my surprise when I received the bill."

"My husband and I ate here for our 17th anniversary. It was great! I told the hostess it was our anniversary, and when we got to the table, there were red rose petals sprinkled off to the side of our table. We were told "Happy Anniversary" by all staff who served us.
The food was excellent (filet mignon, loaded baked potato, bread). At the conclusion of our meal, the server brought us a platter with two chocolate covered strawberries that read "Happy 17th Anniversary."
Overall, it was a great experience, and I look forward to returning ... very soon."

"This is a great place for a special occasion or for just a great steak! Ruth's Chris definitely has one of THE best steaks I've EVER had (I had the fillet, boyfriend always gets the ribeye)--so tender, flavorful, and juicy. Mashed potatoes are also good. Never tried anything else (why else go to a steakhouse?!), but I'm sure the other menu items are good, too. The service is excellent. The ambiance is great. Overall just a wonderful place for steak!!!"

"I've always loved Ruth Chris in the past but found this experience to be quite ordinary. I had the New York strip steak, which was cooked correctly; but it was much more fatty than what I expected. My husband had the Kobe steak, but the serving size was small compared to Kobe beef servings we have gotten from other restaurants, especially for the price. I dont' mind paying the price. I just expect the food to live up to the price."

"Once again, the food and service was incredible. It is consistently great regardless of what city I'm in. The portions are just right and so many times when I ask my waiter in FL, Chicago, Indy or wherever, how long they have been working there it's always 7 years, 10 years or just recently 14 years. That says something about the quality of the staff. I first ate at this chain in Baton Rouge when it wasn't a chain. As I recall back in the 70's calling on Mr. Huey J. Wilson this was the best steakhouse in Baton Rouge. Mr. Wilson preferred another place that had LSU Tigers on the wall but really, this was the best place and still is. The fried Oysters are to die for regardless of what city you're in. The steaks....OMG."

"This is my favorite place for steaks. Sure, it might be because of the butter they put over it, but dude...it's delicious. I prefer Ruth's Chris over St. Elmo's or Don Shulas for steaks. Their spicy lobster appetizer is really good, but a bit too spicy for my wussy tastebuds. I always make sure we go here when Devour Downtown comes around!"

"The food is always great at Ruth's Chris. Usually, we get excellent service as well. Our waiter seemed like he was having a bad day. He was not friendly at all, however, he was still attentive about refilling our drinks and quickly brought anything we needed. I'll just say this was off day for the service - we usually have very friendly waiters."
