"We were visiting in Miami. Our kids took us here for dinner Monday evening. Greeted nicely. Was last night of Stone crab, although none of us tried the all you can eat deal, Our kids had appetizers: 6 large claws (very tasty), dozen oysters & crab mac & cheese for their meal. My husband had salmon, I had seared ahi with parmesan potatoes, The food was very good (not amazing for the price) but no complaints. Tasty and cooked appropriately. I wasn't overly pleased with the service. We spent quite a bit on alcohol (drinks and several glasses of wine) We were rushed, he tried to take away bread before we even had our dinner, was not attentive, didn't check on us once our meals were served, near end kept trying to take my plate before done. SAD!"

"Loved our Anniversary dinner. We have been to this restaurant many times. We love the trout almondine, it just melts in your mouth and the carrot cake is to die for. The service was much better this time around. We actually considered not going back because our waitress last time was so horrible. We are glad we went back. Our waiter "Mark " was wonderful. Will definitely be back and ask for him."

"I took a couple that was visiting me from out of town and their steaks were not cooked well as they had asked for. Mine was fine but the manager himself came to us and took them all away and had all 3 re-done. I said mine was ok but he said by the time theirs came out I wouldn't want mine anymore if I wanted to wait for them. He was very nice. During the wait he even sent tequila shots to our table after asking us what we would like to drink. The steaks themselves were amazing. I also had the lobster bisque - great!!

"Our second time at the restaurant and this time we came back with our friends. We ordered oysters and they were very fresh and very tasty. Lobster bisque was just right.
I got Trout Amandine and it's the best tasting fish on the menu. The salmon my friend had was also perfectly done and not dry at all. Highly recommend these if you are a fish lover.
For dessert we all shared Carrot Cake with caramel sauce. It's "out of this world".
Will for sure come back in the near future."

"The service was rushed. We got our wine when we were still drinking our cocktails. The Chilean Sea Bass was huge. We were seated next to the bar area and the noise level was awful. The live music made it hard to hear what anyone said. The Cioppino was great and more than I could finish. The after work drinkers were very loud and annoying. Don't sit any where near the bar area during happy hour. The portions were very ample even for dessert."

Waitress was very good, but her support service was mediocre taking dishes that were not finished, placing silverware in wrong places, no butter knives and 3 scoops of butter for 4 people (they need to train their support staff better). Wine list excellent, but pricey (3x's retail prices). Overall experience was very good, but prices along the lines of most expensive restaurants in Miami."

"Been in Miami for years, pass by the place all the time never have been in. Its a classic, great food, great service and reasonably priced. The only thing they need to work on is the vegetable/side dishes preparation, kind of fall down there. The Truluck's in Naples is even better, what a scene at happy hour!"

"We knew when we pulled up that this was going to be a great dinning experience...as soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted with a smile and great service...we were seated and the adventure began...the food was exquisite only to be topped by the service. The only problem I had was that my steak went too quickly, I should've ordered another one. From the bisque as an appetizers, to the dessert made special for my wife’s birthday...this meal was great from beginning to end...when we are back in Miami, this we be our first stop...WOW!!!"

"It was amazing.This wasn't my first time here.However it was with my Daughter Alayah. I wanted to take her to a place somewhere special since it was her special day. And TruLucks made it all worth it.I even purchased my mom a take out since she wasn't able to make it.Priceless... Our Waitress Janeane... Janeine... Not sure how to spell it... But she was awesome and patient with us.. I purchased the "All you can eat Crab Claws" and Boy oh Boy she made sure they kept coming.... geez... I thought I was gonna burst... and to top it off she surprised my lil princess with a nice cake performance that just made Alayah go nutts lol.. I think it was the fire that excited her.... lol ... but in all we had a fabulous time... Thanks you guys..MUAH"

"Went here on a mid week Wednesday night. Wow was this place crowded and happening. Like a busy Saturday night. We loved the experience but be prepared to spend lots of money, Be sure to ask how much the specials are. We ordered three special steaks and they were $125 each...sticker shock to be sure. We had stone crab, calamari, steaks, grouper and many sides. Do not miss the desserts as well the shopping chocolate bag is great and so is the carrot cake and chocolate cake, expect huge portions for dessert and sides. we spent over 150/person. The service was alright but not stellar, too many tables for each server to have. The GM stopped by to check on us, this was a nice touch What a great job to work at this place."

"Special kudo's to our waiter Mark and to new manager WIlliam Salogar. Mark for especially fine service and knowledge of the menu. WIlliam for promising to get some Tito's Vodka for the bar. After all, Truluck's started in Texas where Tito's is made and I prefer to drink American rather than French or Scandinavian. The Filet Mignon was unbelieveably tasty and perfectly done, Medium, not almost medium or wedium well. I tasted the Trout and although I am not usually a Trout fan (I prefer Swordfish), I'd order the Trout next time. The chocolate layer cake desert was too much for two people to finish without going into a diabetic coma. Keep up the good work."

"You aasked !! Music from lounge spills over into restaurant. If you want to talk, get a table far into the restaurant. Wine list pricey. Appetizers delicious. Steak and fish main courses both overdone. Waiter never checked back for quite sometime after meal served. Steak delicious on prior visits - will be giving place a break for a while."

"Truluck's had a great ambiance. They had live pop/jazz music and the talent was outstanding. The restaurant and clientele were "dressed up" so it would make for a nice romantic or business dinner.
The prices were also dressed up meaning high. It was one of the most expensive dinners I've ever had mostly because of the price of the King Crab legs. The waiter brought "sample" Stone and King crabs to us on a tray. The Stone crabs were small but the king crab legs they showed were huge so that's what we picked. Unfortunately what they served was nothing special. It was the proper weight (they charged by the pound), but I was anticipating the enormous legs they showed so that was a disappointment.
I'd go back but order something else."
