"This place is a little hard to find. I personally drove right by it the first time by. The restaurant has nice patio seating, and has very quaint interior. The restaurant is actually quite large, but the dividing walls are well placed, to give the place a small feel. The tables are far apart enough to feel like you are having a private conversation without overhearing other tables. The food was excellent. They have a fairly small menu, but each item looks delicious, and the actual dish is extremely satisfying. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others."

"I took my mother here for Mother's Day brunch. We didn't receive our appetizers or complimentary biscuits for at least 25 mins after being seated. It was almost an hour before we received our entrees. The back room we were seated in was very loud, granted it was a holiday. The food tasted very good, but was almost room temperature. This was the second time I have eaten at Crum's, and my two experiences were very different. Maybe just stay away on holidays?"

"The food here was amazing! Everyone raved about their respective dishes. Their salmon, trout, chicken florentine, and tuna wontons were scrumptious! I just wish the restaurant were in a better part of town."

"This is my new favorite restaurant in Augusta. Yes, it was THAT good! We sat outside on a warm spring day and the outdoor dining atmosphere was fantastic. Our server was very nice, friendly and kept our glasses full! The crabcakes starter was absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the pork chop and I tried a bite... Best pork chop I have ever tasted. Wow! I ordered the shrimp and grits, and again... WOW. It was perfect. We will definitely be back for more :)"

"Went for romantic birthday dinner with hubby and we were disappointed! All food was very salty, interior was unimpressive compared to menu prices. Dark, but not in a romantic way. A few tables were being used, mostly by young groups in shorts and t-shirts! Not the atmosphere we expected. Wouldn't go back!"

"Enjoyed Crum's for a second time, this time with a party of three. Everyone agreed our food was well prepared, well plated, and delicious. The wait staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The ambiance was quiet and reserved. It seems a great place for a quiet evening dining and talking with friends."

"The stuffed quail and the fried grits appetizer were great, the shrimp & grits not so much. The shrimp had been preboiled then added to the dish at the end. Just did not work. The Prisoner wine was delicious."

"This is a place I often forget about because its location is a bit off the usual restaurant areas, but worth looking for. We like it because it is open on Sunday evenings when many of the other "hot" restaurants in town are not. Business guests coming in for Monday morning have very limited choices in this town and so this is a great place to take them. The menu is varied and unique. I like that there is something for everyone at a range of prices, so you can spend a little or a lot. The beverage list is excellent. The wait staff is pretty good, not the best, but it is clear they are trying. They are very attentive, but a bit more education about their menu would help."

"good restaurant, not quite 5 stars, great specialty cocktails. The mussels appetizer was extremely good. Shrimp and grits was excellent, but too salty as are almost all shrimp and grits dishes I have ever had at upscale restaurants. Very rich, too rich, but that is how upscale shrimp and grits tend to be, not sure why. They use the same sauce as used in the mussels. Rocking sauce, but didn't need to be used in another dish. Had a ribeye, garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. Mashed potatoes were NOT too salty, which were great. Steak was cooked perfectly, topped with onion rings. It really needed a sauce of some kind. The onion rings and mushrooms in one appetizer were well fried in a tempura type batter. Batter was a bit thick and bland"

"Went there for Valentine's Day on a suggestion from a friend and it did not disappoint. Glad we got there early (6:00) because it got busy and the service for later arrivals was slower according to our neighboring table's server.
The food was unique and delicious. We tried the grit fries and were instantly hooked. My ribeye with bacon jam was tasty but was a little too sweet after a while. My wife enjoyed the trout but was surprised that it came with fried oysters (not listed on menu) and would have asked them to leave off. Not a big deal tho. She absolutely loved the pineapple crisp with coconut ice cream and told our waitress it was the best dessert she had ever had! Staff was friendly & knowledgeable. We'll be back!"
