"The food & service was wonderful. I was shocked at how expensive it was, especially since this is in Roseville, CA not some big city. It cost $50 a steak! We had no alcohol or dessert and bill was $180 w/tip. Just wanted to warn others since we were surprised by this."

"Recent Saturday night dinner with another couple. Had Ribeye and Filet steaks. It's a Steakhouse, right? All were cooked as requested. Two Med. Rare and two Medium. One of the Ribeye's had a gristle down the middle. Perhaps a sauce for the Filets should be offered as they lacked flavor...I know they have little fat for flavor...but you can have flavor without fat, using seasonings and/or sauces. We all agreed the food and service was good, but definitely not great. Better tasting steaks available at a number of restaurants in the Sacramento area. Overall, a somewhat disappointing experience for the price point."

"The only reason I did not rate the food as outstanding is that my husband ordered filet Medium and got a piece of meat well done and would not cut, but would be pulled apart. My husband could not eat it. My filet was outstanding and I shared with my husband. The management removed the filet from the bill and gave my husband a filet to take home and cook the next day. Which we though was very very generous of them. Without this incident I would have rated the whole dining experience as Outstanding."

"I took the girl of my dreams here for an early Valentine's Day dinner 2/13/13. They accommodated my Open Table request for a quiet little booth. The service was consistently superb throughout what would be a fantastic evening. We both had the filet and lobster tail special. I can't think of a single criticism of the preparation. The roasted Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes complemented the entrees nicely. The waitress decanted one of our favorites, a nice little Stag's Leap petite syrah. A divine little cheesecake capped the meal.
It was a truly lovely evening. Great food. Great drink. Great service. And really great company.

"Hummm, the steaks? Just got back from eating at Gordon Ramsay Steak in Las Vegas...how was it in comparison to Ruth's Chris? Overall quality of the steak is nearly the same. At RC you get steak on a blistering hot plate, GRS your steak has already rested and has somewhat of a seasoned crust. For a good steak close to home, RC pretty darn good. I would have to say that even at RC, the college students working still haven't learned the art of being a true world class waiter, otherwise RC is fancier than Outback and Cattleman's....Once every few years for me is enough."

Our recent visit was very good. The service was outstanding with Jim as our waiter. Also the manager stopped by out table several times to check on everything. Our recent visit was on a weekday at 6pm so it was not crowded but there were enough people there to have a great ambiance.
