Trata Greek Taverna
Trata Greek Taverna is located on Las Olas Boulevard. Come and join us in our restaurant or sit outside on a covered patio. We also have a great bar area where you can enjoy some traditional Greek favorites.
Our menu offers appetizers cold or hot, which includes greek tapas style all day for lunch and dinner.
You can find saganaki, mussels, Greek style sausage, fresh and breaded calamari or for an entree we have our signature lamp chops, fresh fish of the day, gyros, chicken and lamb kebobs are among some of the choices that await you.
Our seafood selection inludes scallops, shrimp, grouper fillet, daily specials from buillabaise to baby spinach stuffed flounder.
Happy hour 4 pm 7 pm half off appetizers and drinks bar only 7 days a week.
We have covered valet parking in the back of our restaurant after 4 pm

"Trata has pretty good gyros and grape leaves; however, the chicken kabobs weren't great and you only get one of them whereas at most other fine dining establishments, you get two kabobs. The servers are fairly attentive."

"On of our our favorite Greek restaurants. The owner really cares that you are happy with your food. I love the whole fish, while my husband loves any of the lamb preparation. Give it a try.

"food was good, waiter was fine but we had to wait long for our food. he screwed up dividing the check and added $4 to each person's credit card receipt. he also demanded a tip on 4 drinks that were billed separately. very noisy, could not hear yourself think. Greek salad for $14 was big enough for one person, not 3 or 4 as represented. much better Greek restaurants in the area. Try the Big Fat Greek restaurant nearby."

"There is suppose to be a 50% discount on drinks at Happy Hour. There were my wife and seven girls there for a birthday dinner. They had drinks at the bar first and the Bartender they said was not friendly and when checks came each person got a check and a 20%tip was added on each check. The thing is the bartender charged full price,put the tip on based on that and then subtracted the 50% from that amount after the check was cleared. So he charged full price, got tipped,that he put on,and then discounted the price. Asked why he did it that way he said because people come in,have happy hour and tip on that price instead of what the full price would have been. REALLY ! Will not go back because of this and am telling everyone."
