Mandile's Ristorante & Banquets also offers a menu for Family Style Dining, a perfect suggestion for large groups. "Our return trip to Mandile's was equal in "fabulousity" to our first visit. The food was wonderful and the service was impeccable. Our server, Geoff, was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us recommendations about both food and wine. The entire staff was tuned in to our needs and made our night with family very special. This is terrific for a romantic dinner for two or for a larger group such as a birthday. I was really impressed when the hostess got a more comfy chair from an office or party room for a handicapped family member. We did not request this, but she saw the discomfort and offered the padded chair for him. Bravissimo, Mandile's!"

"I think there may have been two large parties going on at the same. I think this stressed out the staff. Otherwise the restuarant had a nice atmosphere. Great convenient location. Easy parking. Authentic Italian food."

"We had heard such good things about this restaurant, so we were really disappointed with our recent brunch. The food was lukewarm at best. The waiter, though he tried, could not keep up with any of his tables--plates piled up, drinks were hard to come by, etc..

"We have had dinner there twice and have not been disappointed in the quality or quantity of food. The service is very good and very accommodating when they ran out of chocolate gelato. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends."

"Mandile's boasts its homemade dishes, but they definitely left something to be desired. The service was excellent and I just wish the food was better. Also, the decor is a hodge-podge of Italian, Greek, and English pieces. There is a metal knight in the entryway, a small figurine of the Colosseum above the coat check, Greek columns in the dining area, and pictures of both Greek and Italian art in the lobby. It is all over the place. We ordered the calamari to start, and it was a little tough and overcooked, but the flavor was decent. I had the papparadelle with ricotta for my entree and it was "meh". The sauce needed salt and the past was gummy. The side salad was supposed to come with a vinaigrette - it was tossed in balsamic."

"Brunch was not kid friendly. Knowing they had a late seating they did not have suffice ie t food remaining. If they knew they weren't going to have sufficient food they should not have taken the late seating. Also, they made no mention of the coffee and soda being additional. If the kids had two drinks that was almost half of what their food cost. I would not go there again. Especially not for a brunch."

"We came to say thank you to my mother in law for watching our children for a week. She wanted good food and a glass of wine. Mandile's was the perfect spot. The kids were able to chose something they loved to eat, we got the pasta we wanted, and great wine. This is one of our "go-to" spots for special occasions or mid-week splurges and it will remain so."

"We were seated right away but there seemed to be confusion about who our server was, and it took a little too long before someone stepped up to check on us. Pleasantly surprised that the owner comped our first drinks for the inconvenience, and things were smooth sailing from there. The food was very good; try the griglia mista! I'm crazy about their dipping oil for the bread. Nicely lit and relatively cozy dining and bar areas."

"This is by far one of the best resturants in the Chicagoland area!!! My wife and I decided to give it a try ( after driving by it so many times) and we can't believe we waited this long!!!!! The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. We couldn't believe the diverse and impressive wine list. The ambiance and decor was also just perfect!! Our server was informative, attentive and accommodating . This hidden gem will be one of our new favorite restaurants in the entire Chicagoland area!!!!"

"Worst dining experience ever. Waited 30 minutes for a table even though we had a 7:00 RESERVATION. After seated, no waiter for 30 minutes. Ordered two glasses of wine, which came 20 minutes later, and were small (but expensive) servings of very average wine. Ordered salads, which came after only 10 minutes, but the waiter didn't want our dinner order yet. After being seated for over an hour, we finally had to remind our waiter that we hadn't ordered our dinner. Half an hour later, our dinners were delivered...only one was edible. Finally, after nearly two hours, we asked for our check, which we had to send back because it was incorrect. Horrible experience, especially on Valentine's Day!"

"Made a reservation for Valentines day at 7:30pm and didnt get seating until almost 8:30pm. Another couple came in after us for a 7:30 reservation and she was seated right away. Another group came in around eight and they had 8 people the entire staff was bending over backwards to accomadate them. We sat when they sat. Wife asked the host and he asked the name said they were short staffed in kitchen which should never effect the guest. He said wait a few minutes i said we have been for ober 45 and he came up to my face like trying to intimidate and i said theres a group of 8 coming and they are about to sit ive been waiting host said its easier for a group of 8 then 2 (dont make sense. Also the server was bad got everyones order near us wron"
