The menu draws its inspiration from the classic seafood dishes found throughout France, and features fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from local waters and nearby farms. Dishes are prepared with straightforward French cooking techniques and bold flavors in a surrounding that is reminiscent of the great cafes of Paris. Red banquets, a marble raw bar and an open kitchen provide an unpretentious but sophisticated experience.

"My wife and I enjoyed a great time ! We were greeted by the wonderful hostess Jeanine and we had a great server named Gordan great food and drinks a must place to go for a good eve out ! The lounge is also a great place with live music"

"HI There,
I'm a french foodie and cooker and I have appreciated the meals we have ordered.The plates were "appétissante" and were nicely arranged! However, I was very disappointed by the desert...A spongy cake , tasteless, with 3/4 pieces of strawberry on the top.
But I will recommend The Millésime as a good french restaurant!

"Millesime is a restaurant that deserves a try. The quality of the food is excellent and dishes are well prepared and nicely presented. The service was attentive and professional and the waiter's (Gordon's) recommendations for dishes we might not otherwise have tried were all great choices. The cod with Manila clams, jasmine rice, kefir lime and coconut is amazing! For meat lovers the steak frites is an excellent choice. As a first course the tuna tartar was perfect... great flavors, nicely presented... and if the server asks if you'd like him to mix the ingredients the answer is definitely yes. It won't be the same if the ingredients aren't combined."

"We arrived late and unfortunately our reservation had been cancelled. However, this was all right as my main purpose was to see my niece Mariya Mizuno sing in the lounge/bar area downstairs and she was on from 8:00 to 11:00 and we stayed for her whole set. The sound system was very very poor, with a greatdeal of reverberation from the low quality speakers provided. There was no blance to the sound quality, and my niece's singing voice was not adequately amplified, despite a new microphone bought at her expense. The food was excellent, particularly the tuna tartare and the Black sea bass, which I had. It was impossible to read the menu because of the lack of light[one small nightlight provided].

"We chose Millesime for breakfast on the last day of our anniversary weekend in NYC, expecting a high-quality experience. The room is lovely, but that's as far as it goes. The coffee was bitter, burnt, and undrinkable. Poached eggs sat in a sad puddle of water. Homefries were cardboard-dry, as though cooked the day before. Smoked salmon came in thick, chewy slabs. A jar of honey on the table had been opened and excavated by a previous guest. Service was fractured and joyless (okay, I wouldn't want to work the Sunday breakfast shift either) with the kicker of an 18% added gratuity. Any corner diner will serve up the same meal at a much lower price - and probably with better coffee."

"Prices seem a little high and the servings small; french generosity does not translate well in this french restaurant. The food is pretty good to very good; however, I've been going to this restaurant since it opened, and I fear the place my be going down hill. What was once a large crowded restaurant with an extensive menu and very fine food has now closed down half the restaurant area from lack of people to fill the seats and the menu seems to have shrunk to half the size. I fear this once very good french restaurant may be on its last legs. I still recommend going if you like french food, but Benoit and Artisanal don't seem so pedestrian nor over priced in comparison anymore."

"The ambiance is excellent and so was the food. Was very surprised at the relatively lower cost for a 'hotel' restaurant. Everything was great. Thursday and Friday nights you can hear the singer from down stairs which is a lovely addition. Service could have been a bit better (water glasses filled more quickly) and its a shame to watch servers looking at their phones at the bar."

"Valentines dinner was a disappointment, Since when doe's a chef take a tenderloin (filet) steak (rare) and slice it like sandwich meat?
Not to mention the accompaniments were of tablespoon size and unsatisfactory, the appetizer's we're tasteless and the bowls they served them in looked like a cereal bowls.
I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone for dinner. Perhaps lunch might be different?
However if you're looking for a little dance and entertainment ~ the lower level (stairs) from the main restaurant looked pretty happening!"

"went for valentines day. Didn't realize it was a pre fix 3 course fixed price at $75/pp. Price was very high for a the food. Apps were small, no complementary glass of wine or champagne. Had we gone the next night the same meal would have been 20%+ cheaper. That said, the black bass was sensational. Overall not impressed."

"If you have a lot of time to wait for your food, need some quiet time, and do not want to be bothered by your waiter (if you can find him)... and also if you manage to find where the entrance of this odd place is, then you will love it. Decor has potential, food is OK and the short winelist prices are reasonnable; but something is off with that place."

"Had business lunch here with a client during restaurant week. While the room was charming and the menu looked promising, we didn't see a waiter until we had already been sitting for 10 minutes, which was a little bit embarrassing in front of the client. Once we finally saw our waiter moseying over to our table, we received some uninterested and detached service. While the food was mediocre to good (had the onion and crab soup - mediocre; the caesar salad - good), I'm not sure I would recommend this place to anyone for a business lunch."
