Bistro Don Giovanni offers a warm and inviting experience with all the personality of a Mediterranean hideaway. "I took my boyfriend to Napa for an overnight to celebrate his birthday. Our dinner at Bistro Don Giovanni's was a wonderful end to a wonderful day. The food was outstanding and so fresh. Our waiter was wonderful and attentive but not too attentive. I mentioned it was my boyfriend's birthday and he placed a candle in the piece of decadent cake we shared for desert? I would go back the next time I was in Napa."

"We actually dined on Easter Sunday. Were seaeted promptly and ever so politely. OUr server was delightful. There were some mix ups with our food arriving on time, but the management gave us desserts on the house and everyone was so apologetic. This is truly one of our favorite restaurants, and we've dined there consistently for 20+ years. The food is always so fresh, so beautifully presented and the staff so kind and accomdating. Not even a mix up on one of the busiest days of the years could mar our love for Don Giovanni!"

"Not great service. Took about 10 minutes before a waiter acknowledged us, then he disappeared again for 5 minutes before reappearing to take a drink order. He had tables out on the patio and scattered throughout the restaurant. I think it just isn't run very well. Food was okay, but uninspired - nothing special, no "Wow" moments at all. If you are accustomed to good restaurants that do everything really well, this may be a disappointment."

"A resplendent setting convenient to "wine way" and a great stop just north of downtown Napa. While we waited a few extra minutes for our table (even though we had a reservation) it was worth it. We were on the patio under the trellis. Quaint yet elegant. It didn't hurt that our waiter was Italian from Pisa and 100% charming. The food is mouthwatering delicious and the service was attentive, and very friendly. We cannot wait to go back. Don Giovanni's will be a regular stop for us on our Napa excursions."

"We always try and dine here every year when we are in the Napa area and we have never been disappointed in food or service. This time it was a little cool outside but we were still able to dine outside with the heaters on. Service was spot on as always and our server was very friendly and upbeat. "We enjoyed another lovely outing at Don Giovanni. The food is consistently good and it is always difficult to decide whether to stick to a tried and true favorite or to venture onto something new. Whatever the choice we are never disappointed. After years of debating with himself my husband tried the burger and was really pleased. I tried the chocolate red wine cake and it was outstanding. "Some of the best past I have had...the ravioli in lemon cream sauce were heaven, my pork was nice and juicy and the butterscotch pudding took my back to childhood.
My husband had the pappardelle with wild boar, pizza margarita and tiramisu and he was insanely happy.
