"Watched "Check please Arizona" and felt Rancho Pinot was worth a try and I was not disappointed. Great food, exceptional service and many options on the menu. Nonnie's Sunday Chicken was rich and tasty and nothing like I have ever tasted. Others enjoyed the pork and lamb chops --cooked to perfection. This was a great place to meet up with old friends, have an enjoyable conversation, and an excellent meal. A little pricy but worth it."

"My wife and I have dined at Rancho Pinot about ten times per year for several years. Food and service are always excellent. The decor is attractive and interesting, with its western motif. Many menu items change with the seasons to take advantage of fresh ingredients. Appetizers, entrees, and desserts are innovative - often memorable. Parking is available in front of the restaurant, and at its rear."

"Don't let the retail location put you off. This restaurant has been around for 20 years and has a great menu. Had a great flat iron steak paired with a Turley Zin. You can see why the locals keep coming back - just a great comfortable feel. We will be back!"

"The staff was crazy good. They remembered names, picked up our friends nickname, sent out a birthday dessert with nickname on the plate. We had 4 out of town guests, well seasoned foodies, who said it might well be the best restaurant in Phoenix. We are going back on Saturday!!!"

"We sat on their patio, which wasn't the greatest location via next to the parking lot, but they had pots and plants to block that. It was nice because it was quieter than the restaurant, which turned out to be good because my husband has trouble hearing. We were not greeted very promptly on the patio, but then as the night went on it was okay."

"The food and service wa excellent. I have been here several times before and I will come back when I am in Phoenix again. More importantly is how we were treated when they could not seat us right away for our reservation. The manager told us to have a seat at the bar which is of course standard. What is not. They covered our drinks and we only waited about 10 mins max. Great PR."

"There is nothing I dislike more than waiting an hour to be seated so the fact that they take reservations was a tremendous start to our evening. The salad with beets and stew with garbanzo beans and pomegranates were delicious and refreshing. The Jandoori chicken was moist, sauce flavorful and crispy skin just the right thickness and spices. The service was good but not outstanding as I mentioned in the online reservation that we were celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary and no one acknowledged this fact during our special night. Also, the waitress did not state her name, I had to ask. Finally, it was a little to cold inside as they had the door open at the front entrance."

"Rancho Pinot was excellent. We had a pleasant table and a very friendly and engaging waiter. The food was delicious, starting with a wonderful salad with prosciutto, walnuts, green apples, radicchio and lettuce. Then came the pork which was melt-in-your-mouth tender over polenta with caramelized Brussels sprouts. The pinot noir to accompany it all was delicious (forgot the label). Overall a most enjoyable experience where we will make it a point to return on our next visit."

"My wife and I really enjoyed our only prior visit to this restaurant about a year ago. We were both particularly amazed by the varied and unique flavors of the roasted vegetable entrée that it was all she talked about when I suggested returning once again for our anniversary. The restaurant was the same in appearance or service, both very nice. However, this time our meals were a little lack luster and a bit disappointing. My fish was good but a bit bland and the roasted vegetables were not where near our experience last year. Overall it was good but not great like the last time. Considering it's a 40 minute drive and dozens of options closer to home I don't know if we'll be back unless we happen to be in the area."
