"We visited on Mother's Day and had delicious meals with excellent service. The filet mignon, chicken, ahi tuna and swordfish entrees were all prepared and presented perfectly. The creme brulee dessert was pronounced "best ever" by my sister who has ordered it everywhere, and the other desserts we had were memorable as well. We are looking forward to a return visit."

"I had a table in a corner next to ttwo very loud families on Mother's Day so I frankly was very disappointed. The table was not in the main dining area and In a dark corner with a view of two walls. The kids at the next table were not well behaved and the parents did nothing to keep them from disturbing other diners. The food was good but not outstanding. Dining out on Mother's Day is always a risky proposition with the crowds and fixed menus so I selected a relatively expensive restaurant to hopefully have a nice dining experience. Boy was I wrong!"

"My wife and I were searching for a dinner spot for our 10th anniversary, and OpenTable recommended the Bridgetown Mill House Inn. Reading the reviews, I have to say the reviewers were wrong... THEY DIDN'T DO JUSTICE TO THIS PLACE!!! Arguably one of the best hidden gems we've ever found, I can't complain about a single thing. The menu was perfectly sized, and our meals -- my wife's filet mignon and my rack of lamb -- were both exquisite. Coupled with great wine, a pre-dinner cocktail and a delightful crab cake app, I would've been satisfied. But dessert took it over the top. The Bourbon pecan tart was the most delectable dessert I've ever eaten. Oh and our server... FABULOUS!! Grade: A+++++"

"Filet was cooked right, but unseasoned, which was a let huge let down. And the mashed potatoes were also bland and watery. I expected a mouth watering meal from great taste, not from undrained potatoes."

"The food was amazing. The staff was very attentive but not in the way. The atmosphere was romantic, or just elegant. The view out the windows was beautiful. Although it is close to a major road, there is no road noise once inside. I highly recommend this for a quiet dinner or a special occassion. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy!"

"Disappointing. We were looking forward to a first time visit. The food, for the most part, was only average. Not up to the prices. Service was good but not exceptional -- I was not asked how I wanted my steak cooked so I stopped a waitress and told her I wasn't asked and would she make sure that it was rare. My steak came medium. Very nice setting, especially the ruins of the old barn. But the restaurant certainly wasn't up to it's reputation."

"This restaurant is a classy little gem that still evokes a sense of old word dining. Everything from the crystal stemware & bone china plates, to the hand written receipt at the end demonstrates their care for their patrons. They make you feel special, not just a number, which is becoming ever more rare in this day and age. This was the second time that my husband and I dined there, the first being our wedding lunch. The restaurant staff made both dining occasions equally as special. There is no doubt that we will return again."

"Had dinner with friends on a Tuesday night. The food was excellent, our waitress was extremely friendly and efficient, the setting was relaxing and very nice. Although we weren't drinking I noticed they have an AWESOME wine selection so I am looking forward to partaking on our next visit. The food was great.. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food and service we received.. Did I say the food was great? Thanks for an enjoyable dinner, I would recommend the Mill house to anyone that truly enjoys dining out, not just stuffing your face."

"Very nice atmosphere , great food, great service. The filet and pork chops we had were great. I live not far from it, never got the chance to go there, glad we did. Nice colonial kind of atmosphere. Very rustic. We want to go there sometime around Christmas to see it then, and in the summer."

"We had searched open table for a special occasion/romantic restaurant with good food ratings for our anniversary. We were extremely pleased. They sat us by the fireplace, and wished us a happy anniversary. The menu and wine list were extensive, the latter with a wide price range starting at $25. The food and service were excellent. It's out of the way for us, but we'll be back. Returning to the Bridgetown Mill House Inn will be a special occasion in itself."

"The venue while lovely and with "special evening" ambiance (white table cloths, candles, sinatra music) is not staffed with experienced waitstaff detracting from what could otherwise be a special evening. The food selections are classic American (filet, lobster, porkchop, poultry) however the preparation is poor, for example, caesar salad consisted of romaine lettuce with caesar dressing vs. a prepared caesar salad. The quality does not justify the price."

"This was our second time here. Food was very good, cooked to perfection. The service left a sour taste. For a restaurant with high food prices, I expect a server who is professional and understands the menu. Our Server was more of an order taker. When I asked if she knew anything about the wine list, she just looked at me with a blank stare. Would have been 4 stars, but don't know if I can go back and spend that kind of money for mediocare service"

"Very disappointed. asked for a romantic table not in a line and they put us in a line in the midst of the kitchen and everyone rushing back and forth and clincking glasses. It was loud and definitely not romantic as I thought."

"My partner and I customarily share meals. We share appetizers , soups and salads as well as an entre. When the bill came , I noticed a charge of THRRE dollars for the two rolls that we had with dinner. When I spoke to the owner she stated that they rarely had people who shared mealsm and therefore she was entitled to add an extra charge, if not for sharing, then for bread. I explained that it was not the $3.00 dollar charge, not the money, but that no one had informed us that there was this surcharge. No adequte response was given."
