Review 8 for Quattro Restaurant and Bar - Four Seasons Hotel

Overall Rating 4.0 out of 5 (Very Good)
"Had dinner at Quattro on Valentine's Day, we had their special 5 course Valentine's menu. While the dinner was very good, after eating the salad and while eating the lobster, we realized the waiter had not brought the first course on the menu (oyster). We pointed this out to him when he brought out the beef course (what should have been the fourth course). He then brought the oysters after the beef, before the dessert (which was our favorite part of the meal BTW). The beef was fine, but was it really Kobe beef? I've had Kobe beef at Alexander's in Cupertino and Quattro's was not as tender or tasty. We have had breakfast previously at Quattro and they do a very good breakfast."

Review 16 for Quattro Restaurant and Bar - Four Seasons Hotel

Overall Rating 4.0 out of 5 (Very Good)
"We've eaten here several times and the food is always very good. This time I think I made the wrong entree choice but that's my fault, not theirs. Service provided by our waiter, Calvin, was terrific. Another plus, Friday nights are "uncorked Fridays." This means no corkage fees and if you prefer to order from their wine list, bottles are 50% off. Hard to beat."

Review 17 for Quattro Restaurant and Bar - Four Seasons Hotel

Overall Rating 5.0 out of 5 (Outstanding)
"Great place! They always prepare a special chef's tasting menu for our anniversary that's consistently fabulous. Service is impeccable & personal, but never smothering or intrusive. A very knowledgeable evening manager (Oliver) who doubles as sommelier. From a perfectly prepared Kobe burger to prosciutto wrapped quail we've never been disappointed. In-room dining for hotel guests also comes from Quattro and arrives just as hot, fresh and equally well presented as in the dining room. Last week when we stayed over I ordered a turkey club expecting the usual bland toast & mayo, but was delighted by an incredible panini w/pesto mayo (& I hate pesto).

Special occasion; Sunday brunch; or cocktails & "pub grub" in the bar...You will not go wron

Review 18 for Quattro Restaurant and Bar - Four Seasons Hotel

Overall Rating 5.0 out of 5 (Outstanding)
"My wife & I heard about Quattro through an article in the San Jose Mercury News. We learned that all of the pasta served is homemade, so we just HAD to try it for ourselves. Not only was the pasta homemade, but it was delicious! We had 3 different types of pasta, and each was quite tasty. The service was outstanding and flexible, and the atmosphere (perhaps because it was a Sunday) was quiet and accommodating. This was our first time visiting Quattro, but it definitely won't be our last!"

Review 19 for Quattro Restaurant and Bar - Four Seasons Hotel

Overall Rating 4.0 out of 5 (Very Good)
"My hunnie and I got the $130 per person New year's eve special. It starts with some Champagne and Hor's D'euvre in the champagne room at 8pm, pretty good start, got 2 free refills. then at 9 we went to the dining room and it's a buffet.... I mean $130 per person for a buffet. there's a lot of appetizers there to choose from and it's pretty fresh, but the main course was meh...nothing special. and the desert table was okay, I tried the grand marnier crepe and it was awesome! then we toast champagne again at midnight and continue dancing. Overall it was fun, but I wouldn't go back. the hotel itself however, was very very very nice with superior service."

Review 20 for Quattro Restaurant and Bar - Four Seasons Hotel

Overall Rating 5.0 out of 5 (Outstanding)
"This restaurant is so consistent from start to finish- wonderful creative food and exceptional service. I have heard that Madera is the competition for Quattro, but there is NO COMPARISON. Quattro is a 10 and Madera is a 5 at most. Four Seasons now offers Friday with no corking fee and if you don't bring your own wine, their wines are 50% off. Free valet, EXCEPTIONAL service. Through the entire meal the wait staff refers to you by name. Whenever we want a great gathering of friends for a celebration, or just a dinner for two, this is the place we go. Wow, another great year for what I consider one of the best dining experiences in the entire Bay Area. Get the doughnuts at the end for dessert- Ohhhhhh, so delicious."

Review 22 for Quattro Restaurant and Bar - Four Seasons Hotel

Overall Rating 3.0 out of 5 (Good)
"The food was ok - I actually would expect more from a Four Seasons. We started with the soup which was tasty but thought the hazelnuts they had in it was strange and didn't really give it the texture I think the chef wanted it too. I hate the seafood linguine and although the pasta was fresh, it was a bit gummy and stuck together. The seafood was good and fresh although I wish the menu had told me they were the little bay scallops since I had assumed the larger ones which we see more. Service was extremely slow and we had to track someone down to get our bill. Disappointing for a Four Seasons where service is usually so good."

Review 27 for Quattro Restaurant and Bar - Four Seasons Hotel

Overall Rating 3.0 out of 5 (Good)
"I dined there for Thanksgiving with some relatives. The staff are excellent and on top of their service, polite and friendly. We dined at lunch and maybe it was 25% full.

The food quality is very fresh and good, but my turkey though delicious was cold and sides were small.

I think for what we paid ($75 per person) was a bit overpriced for the overall servings. The dessert bar was ok. I think a stronger focus on pumpkin pie option would have been nice as the pumpkin option was like a custard in a small tart.

The ambiance is a bit cold and something I hope they review.

I am not sure I would return & for the money I will go to Half Moon Bay/Navio as that restaurant has it all (view, food quality and quantity, excellent staff).

Review 29 for Quattro Restaurant and Bar - Four Seasons Hotel

Overall Rating 2.0 out of 5 (Fair)
"The food was fantastic, but there were two separate tables seated near us with children on a Saturday night, 7 pm. One appeared to be a birthday party for a girl about 3 years old. She did not sit at her table, instead ran around the restaurant followed by members of her party. The other table was a family with two small boys ages about 2 and 4. The 2 year old yelled to his parents over and over trying to get their attention during the meal, each time followed by loud "SHHH!!" This restaurant has a very high ceiling and open floor plan, and every running footstep, shout, and "shh" was audible to everyone in the room. We expected an elegant dinner. Instead we paid for a four star meal and wine served in a Chuck E Cheese atmosphere."

Review 30 for Quattro Restaurant and Bar - Four Seasons Hotel

Overall Rating 3.0 out of 5 (Good)
"Quattro is a beautiful restaurant within The Four Seasons in East Palo Alto.
There was little-if-any haughtiness or attitude which was a relief.
My food was OK...I ended up with a steak that looked and smelled great - but was full of grizzle. I was compensated with a club house sandwich that I asked to take "to go" as my time for luncheon dining was over. In this case, a refund of my steak dish amount would have been the more customer service oriented way to go. This time, Quattro at the Four Seasons' interests won out, not this customer's.
