Quattro Restaurant and Bar - Four Seasons Hotel
The Italian word for "four", the name is in line with the architectural design of the restaurant as a large light airy room with glass on three sides. The room is lit dramatically at night and illuminates the front of the hotel entrance. Quattro features Northern Italian seasonal and light cuisine with a fresh Cal-Italian twist at breakfast and lunch. The dinner menu is comprised of contemporary Italian cuisine featuring locally grown produce and artisan products from Northern California farms since opening. Attentive, unobtrusive service compliments the exquisite menu and an extensive wine list which includes predominantly California wines with many boutique offerings and an extensive Italian selection.

"You might not think of going to the Four Seasons hotel in Palo Alto for dinner, but Quattro is well worth going off the beaten path. Parking is much easier than downtown Palo Alto, too! Food is outstanding, great flavors, and nice presentation. Emily, our server, enthusiastiasm for food and friendliness, makes the dining experience even better. And manager Aleksandra makes you feel welcome. If there's a criticism, it's just that the menu selections are a little limited. But what's there is good. Ambiance/decor is very contemporary, too."

"love the restaurant ! menu is always interesting. noise level was too high this time. two families seated next to us did not keep their kids quiet ! kid friendly was good for them but not for us.two of our party did not get their food until the rest were done. although we were comped with two drinks and a dessert sampler it was uncomfortable."

"At first, I have no clue why the server asked us whether we made the reservation or not as the receptionist has already checked us in!! And we have to wait almost 15min for her to come by & take our order
For the food, I was ordered the crabs Benedict, It's good on the crab meats & egg but there's the extra over cooked bread underneath. Once you bite on it, you can totally taste the bitterness. It ruins the whole dish.. For the rest of dishes that my husband & my aunt were ordered only fair. My Aunt was a bit upset since she has thought the service & quality should be food since we're in four season hotel. This is the worse experience by far among all these restaurants in four season hotel"

"We dined at Quattro for our 25th anniversary and received red carpet treatment - it was delightful! In addition to outstanding food and service, they greeted us with best wishes, started our evening out with champagne, and ended it with a beautiful dessert with an anniversary greeting written in chocolate on the plate. We felt very pampered and special!"

"With it's lovely ambience, it is very loud - every surface is hard - window/metal/stone - nothing absorbs. I could barely hear my table guest and this was at lunchtime. The food, I had a chopped salad with chicken it wasn't good, it was too salty - too much pancetta was added. My husband had their mac-n-cheese, again, not good and the cheese was just a "glob" on top of the macaroni. Will not return."

"We were there on Mother's Day and they had a fixed price menu. The food was very good and the service was outstanding. We were there with our 8 months old baby and the waiter was very patient with us. We really liked their dessert buffet option.
We will definitely be going back there in the future.
The only suggestion is that, sometimes, there was bright afternoon sun coming through the windows and we were sitting very close to the windows. Perhaps, the waiter should offer to lower the shades when this happens."

"The restaurant seemed understaffed. Service was slow. We had a young man in training so that might have slowed the process. Had to ask for bread and water. Salmon was suppose to be medium rare as per chef's suggestion. Mine was overcooked. Precious amount of roasted beets and carrots accompanied salmon along with a tablespoon of lettuce and 1 nasturtium. Birthday celebration and restaurant was forthcoming with small squares of cake with ice cream topping for each. I will not return nor will I recommend it. A wine glass of sangria was $15.00. That's an absurd amount to pay for red wine with fruit. I should have worn my glasses!"

"Had a great lunch this week. Menu items were creative and well presented. I especially appreciated the staff attention. I happened to select an "off-beat" menu item. Both my waiter and the maî·tre d' checked in several times to make sure I was satisfied with my meal.
I often dine here for business meetings. It is extremely accessible for people coming from San Francisco and the East Bay. As an added bonus -- no parking hassles."

"Smoked swordfish" was cold and served with citrus and frissee and a few other things -- smoked fish should not be cold, watery and overpowered by citrus. "Very limited choice of food. Not very impressed with what was served either. Expected more since its Four Seasons. Quite frankly DISAPPOINTED.
Limited to NO veggie choices. Meats weren't that great either.Nothing extraordinary. I rather go to a regular Italian restaurant and have dinner than be here. Servers were nice."

"My girlfriends and I had a wonderful brunch at Quattro. My eggs benedict were a slightly different from the traditional type and it was super delicious. We had excellent service. Our waitress was helpful and attentive but did not hover or rush us. We ate and drank (bottomless bloody mary's!) and talked for a good long time. After that we followed up with a visit to the spa. All in all very relaxing and enjoyable day at the 4 Seasons."
