"The food was so wonderful. The steaks were perfectly done. The Silver Fox topping for the steak was to die for. The wait staff was attentive without being bothersome. Every recommendation our waiter gave us was right on. It was like he knew our tastes. The décor was beautiful. My husband and I were able to carry on a quiet conversation. Very intimate and romantic. Thank you! We can't wait to go back."

"My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the Silver Fox on a Saturday. The food and service were excellent. Staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is not very well lit; it is dark even with a candle on the table. A group of 7-8 was seated near our booth and was a bit noisy at times, but not overwhelming. We both had steaks and they were cooked and seasoned to perfection."

"We tend to reserve the Silver Fox for special occasions becuase it is a little pricey. Dinner for two with drinks (not wine), appetizer, entres, and dessert with an after dinner drink comes in at $300.00 with appropriate tip. On this outing we had the Ahi Tuna appetizer. This was the low light of the evening. The presentation was less than appealing and one of the think slices of Ahi was an actual chunk about 1/2" think. It wasn't bad, just didn't measure up to expectation. The Surf and Turf was very good. A 5 oz. filet and a 6 oz cold water lobster. We ordered the filet medium rare and should have stayed with medium as it was a little under cooked for medium rare. The service was outstanding, but I am disappointed at the dress code."

"I love the relaxed feel of this place, dark, cozy and comfortable. I definitely would return. One female trainer and trainee were both friendly and helpful. On the down side, our server "Kim" was a little high strung and a bit rude to some of our friends and family, simply because they moved their seats. One reason was because a chair was broken and she didn't feel comfortable.The food took a while to come out, which surprised everyone because the restaurant was not busy and a few of us had ordered the same items. Our checks also took a while to come out and Kim looked overwhelmed and showed unprofessionalism while under pressure."

"The food was excellent, as expected. Due to a large booking, we were placed in the bar area, next to the entrance at a table fit for one; ex: bread napkin rested in butter plate; when wine was served, water glasses had to be moved next to wall on left. Every time the front door opened, we felt the breeze. Clients and servers alike walked past us upon entering the room. In hindsight, when being shown to our table, we should have declined and come back another time, even though we were there to celebrate our anniversary, as we have done for several years. This visit was an anomaly."

"The food was great but I cannot understand why Open Table would let me make a reservation at a restaurant that was not in the location listed. I made a reservation for 1000 Texan Trail for Silver Fox. Obviously, when I got there, there was not restaurant. I called the restaurant and made it there without any issues...

"We celebrated our anniversary at Silver Fox. The wait staff was very attentive the whole evening. The food was very good (french onion soup, steak, baked potato, creamed spinach, chocolate cake and coated strawberries). The only downfall is that the main dining room is very open, and the atmosphere was very noisy. We will consider returning to Silver Fox for another special occasion sometime in the near future."

"Silver Fox should be ashamed at what it presented on Valentine's day. The food was good but not memorable. For the amount they charge my expectations were high. Service was good in the beginning but then we waited 15 minutes (yes I did check the time) between our main course and the dessert. When we did get the dessert the waiter brought the wrong dessert. I would have expected this type of experience at lesser restaurants but not at a restaurant that makes the claim of fine dining experience!"

"Since our last visit, the quality of the food changed for the worse. I would not consider the prime steak to be prime. It was more like a seasoned tender roast. How disappointing. Also, the service wasn't top notch as in the past. When the silver was rearranged, it wasn't replaced properly infront of the guests. When the waiter inquired about the food, she did nothing but smile when I said it was "okay". "THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH WAIT STAFF AS OUR WAITER WAS SERVING TOO MANY TABLES. AS I HAD ASKED FOR A TO GO BAG AND IT TOOK 10 MIN TO GET IT, A CUP OF COFFEE TOOK 20 MIN AND WAS SERVED AFTER THE DESSERT, ORDERED AT THE SAME TIME. LASTLY THE BREAD PUDDING WAS STALE BUT IT TOOK SO LONG TO GET THINGS THAT WE DID NOT SEND IT BACK. I LOVE SILVER FOX BUT THIS TRIP WAS NOT GOOD AS I WAS ENTERTAINING TWO FRIENDS FOR BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS AND SERVICE WAS TOO SLOW."

The waitress was confrontational
