"The specials Live Uni and Shrimp were outstanding! Ponzu raw oysters, North Shore, Miso Grilled Sea Bass and Lava Tataki a must! We eat here often. Food quality is high. Dish presentation very aesthetic with fresh orchids."

"We celebrated my sons birthday at his all time favorite restaurant. Everyone should request chef Michael, he rocks! The service is great and the staff are very friendly. Good eats at a good place! A definite must try for all ages and all occasions."

"This restaurant is very high energy and noisy. The food was superb and the service was very attentive, but at times a little pushy. They do a large volume of business and need to keep customers moving. This is not a place to have a nice leisurely dinner, but if you want excellent Sushi this is the place to go."

"We had a very nice birthday dinner for my boyfriend but it took a long time for the chef to come over...overall good experience but felt the time elapsed for the chef to come over was 15+ mins after we finished our appetizers..a bit long. However I would definitely recommend this spot to friends and actually already have. One plus is tht the hoods/ventilation system is great an you don't leave smelling like you were at Hana Japan."

"Excellent fish, fresh, nice pieces.
The sauces were not as good as last time when we sat at the sushi counter and had the chef preparing our dishes. Not sure why, the first 2 times we sat at a dining table and it was fine. Overall great addition to Dublin!"

"My family and I made reservations at Yanagi for lunch at a teppanyaki table. We were seated and immediately (within 10-15 seconds) what we wanted to order. I explained to the server that we had just sat down and we had not.even had a chance to look at the menu. The server told me that one of the other people at the table was in a rush (not part of my group) and she would have to take our orders immediately. It is not our problem that someone else did not plan their lunch break properly and was rushed to get back to work. I was trying to enjoy a nice relaxed lunch with my family. I again told the server that we were not ready to order and that we would just wait for another table. Very, very bad customer service!"
