"7 + a 2 year old. It was a perfect way to relax and catch up with family we don't get to see very often. They ran a Mother's Day Special which was affordable. It was fun picking out things to share and enjoy a nice, slow, relaxed meal. We were never bored because there was always food. We had time to catch up. The food was AMAZING, unlike anything anywhere else."

"My wife and I loved this place. The food is well-seasoned and plentiful. We both had a 4-course selection, and it was easy to work with, and fun. We visited on a Sunday evening, and our corner booth was private enough to have a great time. We'll be coming again."

"I made my reservation a week ahead of time and told them I was bringing my son and a few of his friends and he is turning thirteen I also stated I have never been there before and knew nothing about the restaurant I feel at that time they should have warned me about the raw food and that you have to cook it yourself but they did not!"

"Overall I consistently enjoy my experiences at the melting pot. I Usually bring a date who has specific allergies and the manager always comes to confirm all entrees are free from the particular items ordered. My waitress was a little less attentive than I am used to at this location than I am use to but I believe she had a larger table that she was accommodating. She was friendly and did a good job overall, but I did not see her pass by as frequently as the other waiters for the opportunity to refill a drink etc."

"Most people know what they're getting with this chain. You do it for the experience, not because the food is spectacular. They have adjusted the menu and it seems prices are more reasonable since the economy took a downturn. We were able to order a 4-item combination, which included a cheese dipping appetizer, a main entree of meats/seafood that comes with a salad, and finally a dessert fondu. It may be a bit pricey for the amount of food that you get, but we always enjoy the experience and try to hit it once a year."

"We loved the four course pricing. The cheese appetizer, ceaser and the spinach mushroom salads were all very good. We both had the land and sea, they were okay. We didn't like that fact that the meats were boiled, but I guess that's the only way that you can cook it in a fondue pot. The create your own desert was awesome. I loved the dark chocolate with grand marnier!! The wine list gave you alot of choices and the prices were resonable. All in all, it was a nice experience, but not something I would do often. Maybe once in awhile."

"I have been to the Towson location twice and have been very satisfied both times . The service was above my expectations , the food was fresh and very flavorful . The waitress made suggestions as to what cheese for the bread and a wine to accompany it . Also she suggested the dessert style and discussed the Valentines special . All of which were blended excellent . I would suggest this restaraunt to anyone looking for a nice evening out , quiet , self paced with great service ."

"The meal does take quite a bit of time to complete. We chose to go with the 4 courses and we had 4 people in our party, so we had one cooktop and had to make a group decision on which type of cheese, broth, chocolate etc. There was plenty of fondue for four and the server offered us unlimited bread for the cheese and veggies for the main course. If there are any more than 4 people in your party I would expect to need 2 cooktops. Each person has two forks, so with four of us there were 8 forks and a bowl of veggies in the pot at any one time, and it was a little discombobulated.
The food was all excellent and the prices were not terribly high for higher class dining. My boyfriend and I spent about $50 each for dinner and 1 drink."

"Amazing! I had never been, but heard about it for years. Finally got a coupon to make it a little more affordable (the 4 course dinner for 2 is ~$75). I thought it was delicious! This is no ordinary fondue restaurant, they have the perfect selection: not so many options that you'll never be able to decide, but they have enough options for those with different tastes to be able to pick what they like. Our servers (we had two because one was training) were very friendly, and were great at explaining the process of properly cooking our food. I would highly recommend this to anybody who wants to take treat their date to a special night out."

"It's a place that can be romantic. We had the kids this time and they like cooking the food in the fondue pot. It's a relaxing place and it slows your pace since you prepare food as you go. Allows you to talk more than the traditional restaurant."
