Pintxo serves up Spanish Tapas & Pintxos, featuring locally sourced ingredients. Located on 2nd Avenue in the heart of Belltown, Pintxo is the perfect spot to grab a drink and some bites after work, meet friends for dinner, or even catch a late night cocktail after a night on the town. Low lights and candles flickering on every table make Pintxo a great date spot. Come and linger on our hidden back patio, nestled between two exposed brick walls.
Pintxo has a extensive cocktail and wine list that features many signature cocktails like the Inti (rye whiskey, Licor 43, chocolate bitters) and the Dulcinea(Novo Fogo Cachaça, Pür pear liqueur), not to mention old favorites like the Kalimotxo (red wine and Mexican Coke.) We offer happy hour daily from 5-6pm.
Beginning April 5, 2013, brunch service will be available on Saturday & Sunday from 11am to 3pm. Menu items will include scrambles, french toast, ox-tail hash, and crab cakes with quail eggs.
"We were so pleased with our visit to Pintxo. The tapas was absolutely wonderful. Great food that our friends who had recently visit Spain said matched some of the best Tapas they had there. This was our first time but certainly not our last."

"The owners are right there seeing that everything is served beautifully. The tapas are authentic, delicious and varied. The outside dining is perfect ( with heat lamps). We can't wait to go back."

"Although the name may be Basque, the tapas are Spanish--some expected, some unusual. Try the lamb skewers, served in a parfait glass with couscous, yogurt and mint. Sardine on toast was pickly and delicious, and the two-color beet salad with fresh mint was refreshing. A real find, and we look forward to trying their related restaurants in Portland."

"What a great place. The food was good and the ambiance was nice. You are not rushed in nor out. We wanted topas food and that is what we got. Good Topas..."

"Special restaurant, faithful to the Spanish tapa tradition. Only problem is that some of the tables are too small to hold all of the delicious food. I will be back."

"The two of us went there for an early evening dinner, only a couple of tables in service. We like tapas for the flavors and the rythym that small plates create.
Service was attentive, prompt, and courteous.
I'm sad to say that the food was average, and not worth the $70 we ended up spending (including a couple of glasses of wine). It was happy hour, so we took advantage of a couple of the opportunities. We had the spinach salad (4 stars), potatoes (3 stars), duck confit (3 stars), chicken skewers (4 stars), bacon-wrapped dates (5 stars), creme caramel (3 stars). But we go out for tastes we couldn't possibly make at home (or at least inspirations to try) and nothing really stood out as something we'd choose twice."

"I wish they had a more extensive tapas menu...that was truly the only reason I have them a good in the food department. The food however was very good and felt very Spanish/local Spanish tapas bar. I lived in Barcelona for a year and it brought me back to Catalonia with the food they served and the ambiance. My friend and I were craving sangria as well and it was delicious!
For the price, I though our bill was going to be a lot more for the amount of good we ended up ordering for 4 persons. Ended up splitting the bill around $60 per couple, drinks (sangria, beer and hard liquor included) which quite frankly is not bad at all!
For a Saturday night out, reservations at 615 for 4 may have not been needed as it was a seemingly slow nigh"

"I love the ambience and service was prompt and pleasant and I loved being able to make reservations online. We were 10 minutes early and are table was already ready and waiting for us. With that said, the plates and proportions were too small for the price. The drinks were delicious, the Rice Morcilla was good but the Ox tail was chewy and I could only find two thirds of the lamb skewers edible (think chewy rubber). The quality of the meat did not match the price and thus I will not be back again."

"The menu seemed to have changed considerably from our last visit. The dishes were not as a elegantly executed as previously. The flavours were not as distinct & unique. The waitress & host were very good. It was disappointing."

"We were a party of 4 having dinner. We had made our reservation at 7.30 but the morning of the dinner edited the reservation to 7.45pm and Pintxo was not aware of the change! Reached at 7.45pm and was done with dinner and paying the check at around 5 to 10pm. At 10.10pm, the waitress told us that the next reservation was waiting for our table! We had to leave when our party did not finish catching up. Dinner blockage for a reservation should be atleast 3 hours. We ended up having to find another place and order drinks that we did not needed just to be able to have a table where we can sit down n catch up"

"The wife and I are lucky enough to be able to go out to dinner every Sat night. We try to find moderately priced good/great food. This is currently our favorite restaurant. It's the food first. Small portions so you can try a few different things, but it's the flavors that keep us coming back. Bacon wrapped dates with goat cheese is our standard starting dish. Try any of the skewered dishes for some great flavors. The beer marinated beef skewer is excellent. They just added some new items and we are looking forward to going and trying them. I really like their Sangria, fruity with a nice finish. I recommend reservations as this is not a large establishment."
