"We had a party of 6 on a Friday night and I was so happy that they were willing to sit us with 2 people running late. They were very accommodating and we were able to order drinks and apps and wait, this is a big plus in my book! Our server was very nice but we had some issues with the wrong meals being rung in and wrong drinks brought out. With that being said, both the server and the manager were quick to fix the errors and make sure we were happy. The food is great, there are many options for sharing which we took advantage of. The table was split on the better dessert, the cheesecake and apple pie were equally yummy."

"We went to Rare for the first time for dinner before the Knicks game. What a great find! We had the calamari appetizer, I had the daily burger trio special and my husband had the M&M burger....everything was fantastic!! Oh yeah...the sides, ribeye Mac & cheese, and sweet potato fries...again, yum!!"

"Rare is a gem in mid-town. My resy made at Open Table was acknowledged and we were seated immediately. The atmosphere was excellent with a comfortable and relaxing setting. The staff was friendly without being overbearing. The rooftop bar has magnificent view and again, the staff was fantastic. Loved the food - anyone going for the first time absolutely must try the rib-eye mac and cheese...it was beyond delicious."

"Our party was a foursome. We all ordered something different. The Nacos appetiser was shared by all without a morsel left on the plate! One person had the cobb salad and her husband had one of the beef burgers. They both thought the food was very good. My husband and I shared the BBQ baby backs; and although they were tasty (especially the sauce) my husband was not as satisfied with them as I was. We did not like the cole slaw taste, and did tell the manager who was walking around speaking with customers. We would probably only eat lunch here rather than dinner. The menu is not what we would normally eat for dinner, but this is the restaurant our friends selected. It wasn't a complete disappointmet, but we've had better rib meals."
