"We had an inexperienced waiter for a busy Mother's Day and the outcome was not as expected. Food came out lukewarm and service requests had to be made at every turn and repeated twice. I have dined here before with experienced wait staff and had a wonderful experience but not this time."

"We were disappointed with our meal as things were substituted for our main course and the waiter did not tell us. When my husband asked why, the waiter said that there was a large party upstairs and they ran out of part of our order.
We had ordered Fish Pontchatrain and this was supposed to be a piece of sauteed fish with crabmeat and shrimp on top served with Brabant potatoes and green beans. We got pieces of fish on top of mashed potatoes and green beans that were very hard. Crabmeat was served on top of the fish along with two shrimp.
In the future patrons should be told when their order has to be substituted for something else.
The Turtle soup and the Creme Brulet were excellent."

"I have to say I very impressed with Annadele's. This was our first time there but we were very happy with the experience. Our server, Denise, made the experience even better with her patience, understanding, and to be available through out the meal. We really went just to relax and take our time enjoying the company, each other. We were able to do that. We ate the Shrimp Medallion Cheesecake (?), Strawberry Salads,and Gulf Ponchartrain, drum fish covered with a seafood sauce. Sorry to say we had no room for dessert as the portions were worth every penny of the total cost. We're going back just for dessert in the future. Can't wait. Sorry to say that I've lived in the area for 10 years and only now decided to try it. My loss."

"Best kept secret on the north shore. Food is wonderful, service is excellent and the staff is the greatest. My favorite dish - all of them. From appetizers to entrees to dessert. We've never been disappointed."

"We went for Easter lunch, I felt it was a little high for the menu, but i still will go back for holiday dinners as it was perfect for lunch with the family. The food was delicious and well prepared with attention to each dish. Nice setting, very peaceful and inviting."

"I can't blame Annadele's for this, but I was unaware that the Valentine's Day menu was set in order to handle the crowd. We had checked the regular menu online and were disappointed when we found that we had to pick one from each of three categories. The problem is that we both avoid sugar and did not want the dessert. We got special permission from the manager to give us a salad and a soup (both in same grouping) rather than get a dessert. The price was high, but it was a special occasion. The food was delicious."

"I made a reservation for a Valentine date with my sweetheart and went in only to be seated at the WORST waiters station. He was not hospitable at all and so I was very disappointed, to say the least with the service. We left!!!"

"I have dined at Annadele's for a number of years and I have never been disappointed. The service was wanting a bit when we dined there last, but it was Valentine's Day and delays between courses were to be expected. The appetizers were delightful. For the main course, I had the Drum and my girlfriend had the steak fillet...both were excellent. My creme brulee was better than my girlfriend's cheesecake, but, again, both were excellent. I am looking forward to returning for Sunday brunch in the spring."

Our server Denise was outstanding, offering thorough explanations of the menu and specials, and being attentive without being intrusive. The seafood cheesecake and turtle soup are must-haves, as is their Pontchartrain sauce, which I had on black drum. A great evening overall! I've already booked a table for Valentine's Day!"
