"You might be able to find a dish or two in Ktown that is as good or better, but overall the the food at Do Hwa beats almost every Ktown spot, and it's a much nicer restaurant. Ktown is a zoo, Do Hwa is a pleasure; and not at the expense of authenticity or quality. Additionally, you don't leave Do Hwa smelling like bbq. I stopped going to Ktwon, and solely because of Do Hwa."

"Do Hwa should really have invested in cushion-backed booth seating instead of the enormous noise-amplifying wood panels that line all the booths, as this restaurant is about a thousand decibels louder than it should be. That said, the food was good -- basically a more thoughtfully prepared version of your standard Korean fare. The cocktails were surprisingly really good -- my favorite was the Battle Royale, which was essentially a Korean take on a Kir Royale. I'm ambivalent about the food, but I would certainly go back for happy hour."

"Terrific drinks and soju, one great taste after another. They let us switch tables with a smile, Rachel our server was knowledgeable and helped create a terrific and varies menu. Always a pleasure here."

"From the minute we walked inside, 2 servers saw us from across the room and had a big smile and waved to us, to the point where we were unbuttoning our pants from being super stuffed, the experience was fantastic. we were offered a table with a grill, and the servers were so helpful, patient and friendly. the food was plentiful and delicious. cant believe ive never been here before. will go back definitely."

"We are novices to Korean food and our server made fantastic suggestions. The flavors were outstanding and very fresh. I felt like I was eating a very healthy and clean meal while still feeling indulgent! I will definitely come back to experience more of the Korean cuisine."

"First time using open table for valentines day. Getting in was simple. Was a little sad their silver screen motif was only visible from the bar, but the food was great and the waiters well informed about food if you're not Korean obsessed."

"What a great choice for my friend's bday. We were even given a free shot of some green tea/lime concoction.....lovely, particularly after the meal to help us digest. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. It was extra special to have some help when it came to deciding what to order and a quick lesson the the table grill. The chicken was a generous portion as was the veggie plate. The waiter and waitress who stopped by were extra helpful and offered lots of help for the newbies. It's always nice to walk into a restaurant for the first time knowing you'll come back again. Both my dinner companion and I would do the same and recommend to any friends visiting the area."
