Buca di Beppo serves authentic Italian cuisine in an eclectic, vintage setting. Our dishes are served family-style, meant to be shared by everyone at the table. Two sizes are available: BUCA SMALL feeds up to two and BUCA LARGE feeds up to four. "I thought the value for the food was not what I expected. We ordered 3 sm entree's & 1 sm salad and felt that the quality was very good the price value relationship was lacking. it did not seem to the value that I remember from previous visits to Buca. the chicken parm was 2 med sized breast, which seems expensive considering that it makes each peice 9.99 per breast. Again although it was very good and a little different than I remember from the past. I don't know it just seems expensive especially when you consider that every items was similarly priced for the portion recieved. Based upon the price value for the trend in the restaurant industry is to offer better values. I guest this concept is not found a home at Buca"

"Spent my Mother's Day having dinner at Buca. Although very crowded, with our reservation, we were seated after just a short wait. Our server (Jorges??) was fantastic. He was so busy and yet, he remembered every thing we asked for. He was prompt in everything and gave us excellent service!!"

"The restuarant is much to crowded and the decor is just to busy. It begins as soon as you walk in. The waiting area is awful. The place is to busy with take out right there. People standing on top of each other. The tables are so close that the waiters kept hitting my chair when they walked by. The noise is to much from being so close. You can not enjoy the meal. The help was nothing but average to be kind.
The food was very good, but not worth the wait, the noise, the service and the crowded space. I could not wait to leave."

"Helpful hint..when making a reservation for five adults make sure to say no to a booth. I was unable to raise my hands to cut my food! Also had to walk around a table of fifteen because the shortest route was blocked. What if we had to evacuate quickly? I would never make it. While it was nice to get in on mothers day. I would have preferred to have been turned down."

"It was extremely crowded and frustratingly disorganized getting checked in. The entryway was a mod scene and the person at the computer checking people in was slow and distracted with checking on table and giving instructions to wait staff. They really needed a 2nd person up front. Once we were shown to a table (10 minutes after reservation time), the biggest problem was that the party of five at the next table and the party of 15 at a large table were shown to their tables only moments before us and we all had the same server. That made it a bit slow since the waitress had to get us all our waters at the same time, take orders at the same time, etc. The server did a great job despite that and the food was excellent as always."

"This is a fun a and pleasant place to eat as long as the point of one's evening is not a quiet and romantic experience. Buca is packed with large groups, probably celebrating something that will require singing. The service is really good though and the staff hustles to accommodate."

"I've eaten at Buca di Beppo in Wheeling several times, and, like in the past, had a great time on Saturday, April 27th. For the first time, we sat at the Kitchen Table. It was a lot of fun, and we could see the cooks preparing dishes and the servers carrying them out. The servers, literally all of them, stopped at our table, to show us the dishes other patrons had ordered, which gave me some ideas for future visits. We went to celebrate my wife's cousin's birthday. Our official server, Sam, was very attentive and helpful, and a lot of fun, and the other servers were a big part of the experience, too, as were other patrons passing by as they received tours of the restaurant. The topper was the big green birthday card, signed by the staff."

"We are a party of eight who always enjoy our holiday dinners at Buca. The food is always delicious and plentiful. Our picky eaters all find some dish they love. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The waiters and staff are always so friendly and welcoming and do such a good job in taking care of us. Service is quick and efficient and they always give us time to linger with family after the meal. What more could we ask for! Oh, and the prices are pretty reasonable, and the leftovers are wonderful."

"Buca is a fun place, but it is a national chain. It can also get very noisy and difficult to hear your conversations with each other in the restaurant - especially in the smaller rooms. Food costs can be expensive, but food portions are large. A large portion serves 5; a small serves 2. If you go with a group, the word is share, share, share your food! Join Buca's club on their website and you will regularly get coupons to use at the restaurant. It's free & well worth it!
We try to get to Buca at least 1x/month. It's a pleasure to eat their - especially the chicken marsala!!"

"I dine at Buca about 6 to 8 times a year. I’ve been dining here before and had such great experience not only with food, but the service as well. I was there Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 12:30 pm. I went to lunch with one of my friends. She was impressed by the food, but very upset with the service.
Cindy was our waitress, when we first got there our waitress went to our table and gave us the menus. She was super loud which sounded like she was yelling from one room to another. She asked us for drinks three times, which got pretty annoying specially because it was only two of us at the table and we had only ordered a diet coke and an iced tea. Those three times she asked us for our drinks she would speak loud. My friend got very uncomfo"

"There were times we needed something, but our server was too busy and disappeared at times. We were placed in a room with a huge party (20+) which probably affected our server's ability to adequately help us. Another waiter helped a couple of times, but he too disappeared. Overall, the food was excellent and I would go there again. It was a fluke that we got seated by a large group."

"This restaurant serves FAMILY STYLE ONLY! ALL entrees, salads, desserts, etc. are based on 2 or 4 people. Prices were reasonable. Service was excellent. Tables are VERY close together. VERY noisy. Though menu and prices are set up for "Family Style" portions for groups, if you go in a group, you will only be able to talk/hear the people next to you."

"There were 7 of us celebrating a birthday. I wrote this on our Open Table special notes to the restaurant. We sat at the "kitchen table" and it was so much fun! We had a half moon booth that faced the kitchen and got to watch all the goings on and was introduced to alot of the food that was going by us out to the restaurant. Everyone really enjoyed their meal and the circuses were awesome. It's a birthday our daughter will never forget!"

"We had a family gathering with kids, and for that purpose this restaurant can fit the bill. Some of us weren't overly thrilled with the food, but that's not why we went there. On the bright side, the service was great!"

"We had a great experience at the AZ branch and thought we'd celebrate Valentine's Day at the local branch. Same ambiance we enjoyed in AZ but didn't realize that earlier in the evening it's quite kid-friendly. On one opposite booth was a couple with a well behaved child. On the opposite side was a family of 4 with one very vocal, active child. He enjoyed standing in the booth and looking at us. I gave up trying to ignore him and talked to him about my meal...that actually worked. He sat down. I'm accustomed to active children but didn't expect so many on what I thought would be a couple's evening. I like the restaurant but would have second thoughts about early dining."

"We were there for a birthday celebration with a party of 6 plus a 2 year old. The food was great and there was plenty to go around. We didn't feel rushed or pushed out, it was very relaxed and comfortable. Our service was outstanding, the waitress didn't skip abeat and was very attentive."

"Noise level was unacceptable, due to a large group (20 or so) teenage girls placed next to our table. Bucca is always on the noisy side, but we were not able to even have a conversation at our booth."

"I love Buca di Beppo but this was probably one of the worst ones I've dined at.
The pizza we ordered was really dry (the tomato paste especially), but the pasta and the fried calamari was pretty good.
Love the atmosphere of this restaurant, though. And we had a friendly server."
