"We enjoyed our dinner here. The décor is very nice and a vast improvement over the last few establishments there. Our server didn't know the specials, didn't know the menu and had no training on how to serve. Not what would expect at a restaurant where the average entree is about $20. We received our bread after the salads were cleared, and the table next to us never got any at all. The bar is extensive, but pricey, and while my husband's caccatorie sauce was wonderful, my saltimbocca was a brown sauce with dried sage (and not nearly enough). When the waiter told me the carbonara was an alfredo sauce with bacon and onion, I had my first suspicions. Still not certain if he was clueless or the kitchen is taking short cuts."

"We were in MB for the weekend, and just happened upon Lombardo's! We truly had the best Italian food anywhere! Restaurant was family owned by Boston folks. Great evening out...."

"This is not a chain restaurant but individually owned. Our best meal while at Myrtle Beach. They are moving locations which will make this a even better restaurant. Will be a go to place every visit to S.C. Everyone's meals were made with fresh ingredients' only."

"lovely local restaurant. We have eaten at Lombardo's many times since it first opened. The food just gets better and the setting is small and intimate. Best of wishes for your move to the new location."

"Classic little neighborhood Italian. Very good food and reasonably priced. Service very good and attentive despite the fact that kitchen seemed a little understaffed due to an unexpected Tuesday evening walk-in crowd. Definitely worth a visit just for the fresh rolls and olive oil infused with roasted red peppers, garlic, and basil. Both veal and flounder francese were excellent. Decent wine list; not huge, but interesting.Later this month moving from side street on north side of Myrtle Beach to main drag (Kings Hwy/17Bus."

"Our first visit and overall a pleasant dining experience. The wait service started a bit rough, the wait staff was overloaded due to several larger parties (golfers) and some overly demanding customers. Our waiter said it was unusually busy for a Sunday night. It took a while to order our meal, though the drinks and bread helped bridge the gap. For appetizers, we ordered the stuffed peppers (excellent) and caprese salad (average). For dinner, we had the lobster ravioli (very good) and the pork osso buco (excellent). The little one ordered the pasta/meatballs and ate all of it (must have been good). Everything was delivered timely and hot. We ordered the chocolate cake slice to go. We will return on our next visit to MB."

"Restaurant is in a side street strip mall, but inside is a pleasant surprise. Has the neighborhood, "Little Italy" ambiance we know from up north. Jeff, our waiter, welcomed us and treated us like regulars, even though this was our first visit. Took plenty of time to explain the specials, and was very attentive, but not intrusive during the meal. Appetizers and meals were delivered in a timely manner, not rushed, and were HOT (a MUST for me). We all had specials which were outstanding. All six of us agreed that Lombardo's was one of the best Italian restaurants we had experienced in the three years we lived in the area. We also appreciated the owner visiting each table, and thanking us for dining there."

"This restaurant greatly exceeded my expectations on taste, quality and presentation of our meals. I will gladly return again. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. They also pay great attention to detail. It is the only place I have ever eaten that I had absolutely no complaints about. Come hungry, go home extremely happy."

"The "hole in the wall" location on the outside isn't much to look at but inside the dining room was nice - not fancy or pretentious, but nice. The food was very good. I had a steak special with crab on top and a she crab reduction. My eating companion had the glazed salmon. He wiped his plate clean. The wine selections were pretty decent as well. We did not have dessert. The server was very courteous and food was delivered promptly. I would eat there again."

"We were visiting and made reservations for lombardo and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. We were seated at a Booth next to the window and felt like we were in our own private bubble- very romantic. We were taken care of by James but felt as if we were taken care by the whole staff. I order spaghetti and meatballs at every Italian restaurant (I think red sauce is a good judgement of a good Italian restaurant) and it was packed with flavor and well seasoned. The only thing I didn't like was the cucumber soup but was warned before ordering that it was quite different so that was my fault (James offered to bring a salad instead). Overall, a nice restaurant with delicious food and an awesome staff to bring it all together."

"The food was very good-- we just did not understand why it took so long between courses. We got our appetizer immediately and then it was about a half hour before we got our salad. Then it was about 20 minutes and we asked about the main course. The waiter told us another 4 minutes. It ended up being about another half hour before our dinner came. It was hot and very good -- we just did not understand the length of time. The waiter did not know what to tell us either, except that it was not his fault."
