Chez Chose offers a menu from a blackboard. This menu varies depending on the season and the products from our providers, each and every one of them Quebec’s very own craftsmen. It also varies following the fantasies of our chef Marie-France Desrosiers whom plays around the products we receive, maintaining a fresh and seasonal selection. May it be foie gras, vegetables, rabbit, guinea fowl regardless of the delivery, she will lay in your plate a joyful mix of flavours . The perfect brew of our local farmers’ hard work and the genius of Marie-France has made Chez Chose something… grandiose. Have a taste, you will see....
"Was in Montreal with girlfriends for a long weekend. I had read good things about Chez Chose and it did not disappoint. Great host, great food and a vibrant neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Montreal."

"I made a reservation based on the glowing reviews written by other guests on Yelp. Upon our arrival, we were met by a very pleasant and funny gentleman who made us laugh within seconds of being seated. He went through the menu with such detailed and meticulous explanations that were all very impressed. He knew his stuff. He had a great sense of humour that made us feel really at home. The food itself was delightful, from the opening soup, to the steak entree, to the wonderful dessert. We were even offered a fruit candy to cleanse our pallet upon leaving. Needless to say I was very impressed with the level of service. Combined with the delicious meal, I will definitely make a return trip the next time I am in Montreal. Thank you so much!"

"It's a shame this place isn't more popular. The food was outstanding and the service was friendly and funny. The decor is unfortunately lacking, which might be the reason it's not more of a hotspot."

"Creative comfort food, locally-inspired and -sourced, family run delight of a place. Daughter in the kitchen, mom behind the bar, dad out front. You can not only feel the love, you can taste it, too. Quebecois joie-de-vivre at it's best."

"We had a fabulous meal at Chez Chose - service was spectacular and the food divine. My husband has Celiac disease and is often required to compromise on restaurant meals...this was not the case at Chez Chose. Thanks!"

"WOW! We found this restaurant through open table, and I embarrassed to admit we live only a few blocks from it and never noticed it. It truly is a "neighbourhood gem." Menu was a chalk board and super creative, with lots of variations so everyone got something he liked. Interesting wine list, and the server was more than happy to help with suggestions. And prices are very reasonable! Anglophones, fear not - the owner is very fluent and learning to say "squab" in place of "pigeon!" We'll definitely be back."

"Very small, intimate and cosy, family owned restaurant. Food was good, but little mistakes here and there... My husband and I shared a starter and then, my main dish came alone... They thought we were sharing the main dishes too! we never said that but it was ok, they came back with both plates. Also, my husband had a piece of meat (poire de cerf) not well cut! He is a hunter, so he knows and love meat, and had it almost bleu (saignant) but it wasnt tender because of the cut. My plate was excellent!! (Petoncles et boudins) Overall it was very good, and the service excellent!! The owners were extremely nice and welcoming! I think I just had so much hight expectations on the food and it was ok. But I would definitely return to that restaura"
