Take a trip to old world Italy without ever leaving Toronto.
Located in the fashionable area of Yonge and Eglinton, La Vecchia delivers the authentic taste of Italy with a genuine Italian ambiance. From the stone and stucco walls covered in Italian pictures and art, La Vecchia captures the essence of Italian dining with European flair and culinary excellence.
The menu is old world, with a strong focus on fresh, quality cuisine.
We look forward to seeing you.
"Mother's Day Lunch - very busy, too many tables crammed into a small area - uncomfortable, food not up to par as per usual expectations, bland, server forgot parts of our order, food did not come out all at one time."

"Great restaurant! It's far from where we live but we tend to go to La Vecchia for special occasions. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food, which is very, very good. The service is first class."

"I've always loved this restaurant! I've been going to it since it first opened and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is perhaps one of the most cozy and intimate settings in Toronto. Guys...looking for a great place to take your date...take her here. The food has always been very consistent. The service equally great. The prices are more than reasonable. Again, I've always loved this restaurant and will continue to go for years to come!"

"La Vecchia is always reliable. Delicious food: Contadina pizza, pizza bufala, the agnolotti and the salmon frittata are favourites. Good choice of wines by the glass. Service is always attentive and friendly. Highly recommended."

"Not as web site projected, Reastaurant is small and cramped, It got noisier as night progressed, Extremely hot, Had to wait 20 minutes to be sited even with the reservations, Waiters seem s to be standing around bar a lot of , instead of serving customers Overall not recommended Would not recommended to individuals or couples, it seems to serve better to groups"

"Restaurant was overcrowded and noisy which would have been fine if the food was great. It wasn't, appetizers cold and tasteless. Main courses, just run of the mill....had hoped it would be our neighbourhood gem based on the look, but unfortunately it was all about the look."

"This is our second time. First was more romantic and quiet, because it was a late birthday dinner. We liked first time better, but second time was also good."

"Overall a great find. Service excellent; mushroom risotto fantastic; and appitizers very good. The mixed seafood grill was a disappointment, and I suspect this is more of a pasta restaurant than a meat and fish restaurant. The table beside the door is not optimal because the dividing wall is glass and often slammed into by patrons leaving the restaurant. Be sure not to sit there on a busy night."

"La Vacchia is among our favourite haunts in Toronto. Food is always reliable and tasty; great wine selection by the glass and everything served by a congenial wait staff. There is always a warm greeting and the servers seem to love what they're doing. The tiny patio is nice in summer; indoors, the space is intimate and invites lingering. Such a nice, unpretentious place--great quality food, lovingly prepared at reasonable prices."

"The service was exceptional and the staff very friendly. It was my first time there and I felt as if I was a regular. I was lucky enough to sit beside a couple who were obviously regulars and the way they were treated made me envious. I got treated well but they got just a bit more and that bit more is going to bring me back. Thank you for a great experience!"
