"The food and service are always top notch at this restaurant. The restaurant now offers a la carte fondues as well. This particular restaurant books quickly for special holidays so we have learned to celebrate these occasions on a different night. I would like to see them open for lunch on the weekends, however. We have never been disappointed with this Melting Pot in Wilmington, Delaware, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes fondues and the enjoyment that comes with sharing this type of cooking."

"My boyfriend and I went to the melting pot for dinner recently and we had a great experience. Every time I have been to this location the servers, hosts and management were wonderful. They are very attentive and the managers take time to visit every table. I would definitley recommend this location."

"Overall, I was completely dissatisfied with my experience at Melting Pot. First off, there were four of us and we were squeezed into a corner booth that had us sitting side-by-side which made talking difficult. We had one burner so the four of us had to agree on what we were eating - we didn't have individual choices on the cooking style, cheese or desert (chocolate). Everything had to be agreed (which wasn't good because the people I was with love spicy food and I don't so they had to order non-spicy) The noise was horrendous - it was so awful we were almost shouting. The food was mediocre and the service was terrible (we sat for a 1/2 hour without drink refills). I won't go back again."

"I took my 3 kids out for Mother's Day dinner. Two of us ordered the meat with Cajun spices. What we didn't realize was that ALL of the food cooked in the same hot broth would take on the Cajun spices. One of my children couldn't eat her dinner once this happened. The restaurant brought a fresh pot of broth to finish our cooking, but we had to segregate the spiced food from the non-spiced food. I wish we had been warned about this problem. I am sure we would have avoided the super spicey meat.

"The food and drinks, as usual, were excellent at our most recent visit to The Melting Pot. The only negative part of the experience was that towards the end of our meal, our server seemed to be in a rush to get us to leave. She cleared away our fondue pot and sauces when we were still eating (everything had been cooked already, but it still made the experience seem rushed)! The beginning of the service was very good - she was very engaging and fun to talk with - but the end of the dinner really ruined that aspect for us, unfortunately."

"I love going to The Melting Pot. My girlfriend'snand I had a great night out. Some shared a bottle or Reisling while 2 of us enjoyed a smores, pomagranite and Ying Yang martinis. Delcious!! We ordered the Spinach Artichoke cheese fondue new to all of us. The robust flavors were incredible! Now that you can mix & match some of us did the Ladies Night Out menu while others did their own thing. Meats, seafood and veggies were delicious. We ordered the Turtle chocolate fondue. Again, another flavor we hadn't tried before. They put whole peanuts on the top of the milk chocolate, put a shot of liquor on top of that, then set it on fire for a few seconds. Delicious!!"

"Had our annual celebratory dinner, and, as always, it was delicious. We've been celebrating with them for over 5 years and have not been disappointed with the flavors or quality of food. This time, however, our cheese fondue seemed extremely small. We were at a table for four with two burners, and we ran out of cheese long before we ran out of bread, veggies, apples, etc. The chocolate was fabulous and was the correct size. But this was the first time we've ever left hungry. Overall, though, it's a great restaurant with terrific service. I'd highly recommend it."

"I was charged "cheese" for three people, but given the same amount of cheese, bread, apples and vegetables for two people. I felt cheated when I saw the bill. I didn't complain in the moment because I was taking my daughter and her friend out to dinner and I did not want to spoil the evening in front of my daughter's friend.
The reason for the poor service rating is due to the fact that the burner at our table did not work properly. It turned itself on and off several times. I had to get up to ask the hostess to check on the situation three times during the chocolate melting. The chocolate and cheese took an extremely long time to melt since the heating element was not working."

"The Melting Pot is a great place to go with a special someone or a whole group. The service is fantastic and the wait staff is wonderful and friendly. The four course experience is truly the way to go and the chocolate fondue is the perfect ending to a wonderful meal."

"Overall a good meal. Was disappointed with table. We were sat at a table that use to be an area for large groups, but was sub-divided into smaller tables. Seating was a L-Shape with one member of our part sitting on a corner. My wife and I were facing the newly constructed wall. A very odd set-up and not good for family conversation. When I asked at hostess, I was told it would be at least another 20 minutes for another table. It wasn't too bad, but there was an overall lack of space formourmplates, drinks, and food."

"It was a great night. I would recommend for special occasions as the bill for two people is likely to come in at around $100. With such costs come high expectations. These expectations were met. The service was very good, waitress was responsive and pleasant. Food was delicious, and the fondue aspect was something different from a typical dining experience and good time was had by everyone."

"Food was great, as always. Fondue style eating is fun for everyone. Service at this location is unusually slow. During this most recent visit, it was ridiculously slow. The teenagers that live for the dessert wanted to leave before it arrived, since we had been there so long (2 hours and 15 minutes, before the dessert arrived). We are all very quick eaters, so that is way too much time between courses. It took at least 25 minutes for a glass of water I requested. My daughter, whose birthday we were celebrating, was so frustrated that it ruined the end of her special day. Very disappointing."

"I wouldn't say the noise was "Energetic", but there wasn't an option for "Way too noisy". It was loud, but that seems to be the trend now. Make your restaurant too loud for anybody to hear the person across from them. Oh well. Other than the noise level, it was great! Wonderful food, great service! Had a lot of fun. We'll be back."

"As always, we were seated promptly (had reservation), the server was friendly & knowledgeable, service was quick, but evenly paced, not rushed. We were celebration our anniversary with another couple. I've also gone with a small group of girls, just for the chatting, the cheese fondue & chocolate fondue- very nice. Also, the email coupon for free chocolate covered strawberries was a nice touch."

"Delicious food & a fun experience. Only complaint was that we felt a little rushed. There was no break between courses (we had the 4 course meal) other than waiting for pot to heat. They should ask if you are ready for next course. Other than that it was a nice, romantic time & we'll be back."
