E&E Stakeout Grill
Since 1985 E&E Stakeout Grill has served some of the best steak, Prime Rib, Daily Seafood Specials and more in a casual setting where a warm tone decor and sparkling waterfall greets guests. The lively staff serves up first rate dishes. Using lean tender choice cut from com-fed beef, Chef Erwin prepares entrees skillfully. Daily seafood specials and plenty of fresh fish and shrimp add variety. You may choose you favorite wine from the stellar wine list or enjoy their generous cocktails from their full liquor bar. Their homemade desserts will not disappoint you and you can enjoy espresso or cappuccino to finish off a wonderful dining experience. "As expected the food was superb, but our experience was soured by extremely high noise level in the restaurant. Nearby table was full of guests obviously having a good time, with plentiful drink, but at times laughing and yelling at the top of their lungs. There were no tables left or we would've asked to be moved. Really wish a manager had come out and asked the noisy table to tone it down for the benefit of other diners. We still love E&E for the food and plan to return, hoping this was a one-time problem."

"We went there for Mother's Day and had prime rib and Chilean Sea Bass, both of which were beyond any we have ever experienced. The prime rib was perfectly cooked and presented and the Sea Bass was tender and delicious beyond words. Having been to some of the top restaurants in the past, we would rate this among, if not the, best food we’ve ever encountered. The price was very reasonable as well, for the quality of the food, compared to past dining experiences. We will go back again and highly recommend it. Don’t be swayed by the fact that it is in a strip mall, the proof is in the food. While not as elegant as some we have been in, it has a very nice interior as well. If you go you won’t be disappointed."

"We absolutely LOVE E&E. We are snowbirds from Maine and have been coming to Sand Key, for a four-month stay, for the last six years. We have always enjoyed a fantastic meal - my personal favorite is the Crab Cake entrée - the best I have had anywhere! We have found the servers very attentive and accommodating. We leave for home in a couple of days but will return next year. We will certainly come back to E&E soon after our arrival. Thank you!!

"My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at E & E on Monday evening. Our server, Kathy, was excellent, and the food was amazing. My wife remarked that the sea bass was the best she had ever eaten, and my entre was wonderful as well. Vegetables were perfectly cooked, sauces were not overpowering, and the wine list offers a wide a variety and good value. E & E is our "go to" place for special occasions. We complimented the manager."

"We brought guests with us for their first visit to E & E. Dinner and service was good although one dinner came out with incorrect side - it was mine, so I kept it. We were placed at a table next to kitchen door although our reservation was made in advance and one of the later reservations: 8 PM. Placed next to the kitchen door made it difficult on our guests and a poor experience for their first visit. That area is a tight fit: small, hectic and constantly traveled by servers and other workers. We enjoy E & E always, but we did not get the impression from our guests that they were overly impressed. Hopefully they will give it another try."

"I always enjoy the food and service. I really enjoyed this outing more so than my others. Sitting on the right side (bar side) of the restaurant seemed to be a little more intimate and quiet, which my husband and I were able to listen, talk, and share and excellent meal with our close friends. In the past, we've always sat on the left side of the restaurant and it louder, the tables are really close together, and there seem to be more people packed in that small section."

"We took our parents to their favorite restaurant and it did not dissapoint. I got the Delmonico and it was the best steak that I can recall eating. (I travelled over 100 days last year and entertain allot). They do a great job with the Cesar salad too. Additionally, the mashed sweet potato's were excellent.
I would bring customers here to celebrate as well as my wife fordate night or just a great meal. The prices here are extremely reasonable."

"We choose this location as it was suggested by locals in the Clearwater area. We were vacationing in the area during spring break/Easter. The regular menu had many selections that my wife and I were interested in. My two children (16 & 12) also found items that looked good. The menu they offered for Easter dinner was also good. My wife and I both ordered the lamb shank from the Easter menu selection. Upon ordering our dinner at 5:45pm the waitress told us that they were completely out of that selection. Really, 5:45pm. We both were very dissapointed and had to order something else.
We would consider returning the next time we visit Florida, but hope that they have the specials.
Other than that everything else was very good."

"Four of us all enjoyed a wonderful,tasty dinner - there was a special, delicious Easter menu but also the regular excellent fare. My favorite, Tilapia, was not on the menu that night but E & E willingly cooked it for me. The place was very busy but the staff were welcoming and service was attentive. We love this restaurant for it's classy, uptown feel and return time and again!"

"We were disappointed that we could not be seated in the area (even though requested) as I have some special needs and the restaurant said they would move us after a table became available in the other room. Our friends were already seated and that was more trouble than we wanted. We were not happy with the placement of the table as it was by a doorway and where the wait staff was picking up drinks from the bar so there was quite a bit of traffic back and forth.
