The Mystic Fish Seafood Grill and Bar has been rated among Tampa Bay's Top 30 Restaurants since it's opening in 2001. Offering affordable, casual, Florida dining at it's best. Mystic fish serves some of the freshest and most creative seafood dishes as well as buffalo, duck, beef and nightly specials. "This was our 1st time dining at Mystic Fish and won't be our last! It was so easy to book the reservation through Open Table. We arrived and were seated promptly. The service was perfect, our server wss prompt, informative and friendly. The Mahi with the roasted pineapple salsa was served hot and fresh. It was delicious and presented beautifully!"

"My husband and I took my mom & dad to Mystic Fish for Mother's Day dinner. What a treat! Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. He easily answered our questions about the menu, and was on the spot when we needed anything, even though he had other tables, including a large group. There were several Specials on the menu that were intriguing. The "small plates" make it easy to try several different things. The Lobster Bisque is my favorite, and I get it almost every time we dine there. Fantastic! Side vegetables are always perfectly cooked. My mom and I each ordered dessert. She loved the creme brulée. I decided to try the salted caramel gelato. It was a great choice. I would definitely order it again. We'll be back!"

"This was our first visit and it was for Mother's Day! It certainly will not be our last time at Mystic Fish - all was wonderful! We had reservations and were seated right away. The restaurant was busy as it was Mother's Day but we received great service - our server was excellent. The food was delicious - there was four of us and everyone loved their dinner. Looking forward to my next dinner at the Mystic Fish!"

"The restaurant is located in a small strip shopping center on Tampa Rd. just west of St. George Place. The building is older but very well decorated inside. All tables set formally. Wait staff appeared very well versed and friendly; our waitress was excellent. Menu offered a good variety of seafood, beef, pork, and chicken. The main course was very well presented, the fish was so fresh it tasted like it was caught that day! Service was excellent. A great experience and definitely on the "go back" list for us."

"We ordered off the Even Tide(early bird)menu. There were many selections available. For an upscale restaurant the pricing was very reasonable for early meals.The well drinks were $2.50, The food was delicious and obviously very fresh. Nice presentation. For the 5 of us ordering 5 meals we only paid $91- plus tip.
This is a smoke free restaurant, but we had to smell cigarette smoke throughout our meal. The smoking tables are located just outside the front entrance door and should be moved out as far as possible. The smell of smoke was infiltrating the restaurant and we were sitting, way inside, far from the front door. The ambiance in the restaurant is excellent except for this smoke issue.Recommend asking for a table far away from front."

"On May 11, not surprisingly, the restaurant was filled; we had gotten the last reservation before 8:30. Our table was ready, and our server skillful and relaxed, despite the hubbub. Food was excellent--went with the bronzed Chilean sea bass, a favorite. Gelato for dessert was a new treat."

"Nice place, good service but the food was uneven. The Calamari Fries' breading was too heavy and a bit greasy, kudos to the roasted red and banana pepper aioli, even if we had to ask for more. Ordered two chef's specials, the mangrove snapper was cooked to perfection but under seasoned. And the mixed grill was little more than a forkful of mahi-mahi, swordfish and over cooked salmon. Okay overall thanks to the service, yet walked away mildly disappointed due to the price to quality expectation and rave reviews."

"Food, as always, was fantastic. Having so many choices on the menu that sounded great, went with the mixed-grill that featured 2 of those other menu choices. Still can't say which I liked best (Mahi with Pineapple salsa, swordfish with artichokes or the salmon with ...), but it was so good! It is always a treat to go to Mystic Fish and I am never disappointed with food, service or ambiance."

The food is always good (I mean really good) and the prices are reasonable for upscale dining. While the restaurant is always busy, we have always been treated like we were good neighbors and best friends, a really nice welcoming feeling. If you like good, fresh seafood prepared in some very creative ways, you should try this reastaurant. You'll keep coming back once you do."

"Food and service wonderful. I mentioned on our reservation we were celebrating a wedding anniversary. The restaurant kindly provided a complimentary dessert for the table to share in recognition of the anniversary. Very nice touch. Had one large table near us of very noisy people but fortunately they quieted down when their food arrived!"

"This was our 3rd trip to Mystic Fish. Something has happened. It has always been great but this time was not the case. The waitress said she was new. That was an understatement. she did not know the menu. She brought the wrong food. The beer she brought was warm. I ordered the iceburg salad upgrade. It was mostly a hunk of lettuce. I counted a total of 3 bits of bacon. The main dish was fine."
