"Warm friendly ambience right from the chef's greetings to the knowledgeable and experienced wait staff to the enjoyment of some great tapas, great wine selection and very good entrees. Patio is large and if necessary guests are provided with blankets and overhead heaters."

"Chef Alistair Veen never fails to deliver. Always fresh, always in season, delicious, with layers of flavour and tastes coming thru each bite. This time, fresh, seasonal spot prawns, served with a reduced watermelon sauce, with fresh horseradish. Absolutely wonderful"

"We have tried to get in Taps twice before and were turned away without reservations but it was worth the wait. The service and ambiance was very good and both our appies and entrees were fantastic. The rack of lamb was perhaps the best that I have ever had and I make a pretty good rack!!! The sauce was very different and unbelievably delicious, with a tomato and olive mixture that tasted like nothing I have before!! The home made fettucine and sauce was also excellent. We will definitely be going back as we live close by. Great restaurant!"

"This was the second time we have been to this restaurant. The same friends were with us. The first time we ate here the food was memorable. This time not so much. The Caesar salad is delicious. But we had to wait a very long time to get our main course and there were only a couple of tables full. When the meal came we were disappointed in the rack of lamb although one person had the fettucine and said it was excellent. It just didn't have it as far as the rest of us were concerned. As well it was a little on the tough side. Will probably go back again but not any time soon."

"Four ladies were dining on Saturday evening. Three of the meals were delicious. There was an issue with one of the meals but as soon as the waiter was made aware another meal was offered. When the lady declined saying she was fine an appetizer was provided to her. The meal in question was removed from the bill. We all left happy and satisfied."

"I loved the atmosphere, although the restaurant was busy, we were able to have a conversation amongst friends without a lot of background noise. The waitress made well informed recommendations on the wines as well as the menu. Food was great, a very unique Caesar salad. Would definitely return, in fact already have three more times."

"We have been trying many different dinning experiences through Open Table. This was a above expectation experience. From the moment we entered the restaurant until will left the service and friendliness of the staff was exceptional, the menu was small yet covered a wide variety of foods for all styles of eating pleasure, it was full of well rounded options, My only negative was the brewed coffee, for a fine dinning experience the coffee was below standard, we mentioned this on the way out, I would review the coffee choice."
