"Oh, my, lord. I definitely have found my new favorite Bottomless Mimosa spot!! You guys were truly amazing! I had a 1pm reservation that you accommodated at 1230. The food was SPECTACULAR! I had the Chilaquiles and it was freaking amazing. What really made this place awesome was your staff. I cannot for the like of me remember the gals face but she distinctively recognized my "more mimosa please!" face. Awesome place you got here, keep at it!"

"This is an average restaurant with good prices. When going to Valencia Street to the Roxie Theater, it is a good place to go for a reasonably priced dinner. Food is not great, but one can find something to eat that one would like. I had a nice roasted chicken breast, but it was served with two sides that were both spicy. Perhaps one spicy side and one not spicy would give a person a break on the heat!"

"Sunday Brunch. Had an excellent time. Service was awesome and friendly - not intrusive. Would go again. We ate the French Toast, eggs benedict with spinach, grub hash with lobster - yummy!"

"Mediocre portions of uninspired food. Ambiance could use some lightening up. It seems inappropriately "hip" for daytime dining. Orange and blue neon lighting aren't usually what I'm looking for during brunch. Prices are somewhat decent but I wouldn't go back."

"I made the mistake of bringing friends to this restaurant without first trying it myself. Needless to say I was embarrassed by my choice of restaurants and WILL NEVER make this mistake again. This place reminded me of a subpar restaurant you'd be forced to dine in at an airport when there are limited choices. With all the great places to eat in the Mission there is no reason to settle for Grub and it's below standard food quality."

"Grub offers high caliber cuisine in a modest cafe atmosphere. Think upscale diner with new American cuisine. The food is very good, reasonably priced, and the service is adequate. Especially novel is the Mac & Cheese bar, where you can concoct your own gourmet Mac & Cheese selection (think, lobster & truffle oil). Spiced popcorn instead of a brad basket offers an interesting touch."

"Delicious food from appetizers to salads to entrees! Prompt & courteous service. Although I wish that the kitchen or server had paced our dinner a little better. We were still eating the appetizer when the main course came to the table."

"Loved it. Would return. Huevos Rancheros made my day and generous bottomless mimosas made it better. Would also return for a slightly more formal affair."

"High energy place with excellent comfort food well prepared. Wait staff gets a bit frantic when the place is packed, but everyone is very nice. Skillet frittatas are the highlight of the brunch menu."

"Made a reservation for 12:45 but didn't get seated until 1:20 which was a bummer. The place is good in price and the food was pretty tasty as well. Waitress was a bit slow to refill our waters and mimosas and we had to ask her a few times to come over."

"Even with a reservation, we got the worst table in the place (right next to the waitstaff's computer station), but it turned out to be fine. The mac and cheese bar with lots of options is fun, and four out of five of us ordered it. It was pretty heavy, though. Sweet potato fries and kale chips were great apps."

"Had an OK brunch experience. The service staff was definitely underprepared for any kind of rush and the service spoke to that. The food was pretty good but took forever to come out. No acknowledgement of of poor service which always leaves a bad taste in my mouth."

"This was my second time at Grub. My first time was shortly after they opened. I chalked up some slights in service and heavy food options to getting thief restaurant legs. But this time was no different. The waitress was mostly nonexistent. The food was heavy and just not very good. I can't see going back again."

"Loved this place. They accomodated us arriving 30 min late for the last reservation available for the night and were very gracious and friendly. Kale chips and short ribs were awesome! LOVED the coriander roasted root veggies. PBf had the veggie burger and said it was good, but he's usually pretty satisfied. There were some lovebirds making out outside on the street RIGHT next to the giant window we were sitting next to. It was pretty hard to ignore, they were staring lovestruck into each others' eyes, very cute but annoying after 25 minutes of nonstop canoodlin'. Turned out the guy knew someone working inside, maybe they could have asked him to just move like 5 feet away from us so their saliva exchange isn't in our face the whole meal?"

"Great ideas, the mac and cheese bar and burger bar. Actual implementation, not great. Food disappointing. Too bright for a relaxed dinner vobe. Grub is an expensive diner. Noise level not bad, because there were so few people."
